Our Villa Katzika is located on the north coast of Crete, right above the wide, 12-km-long dune beach at Episkopi. This is one of the most beautiful and longest sandy beaches on the island. You can walk 12 km nonstop along this wide, unspoiled dream beach—right below the house—all the way to Georgiopolis.

Villa Katzika measures 156 square meters. You’ll find a spacious living and dining area, an open kitchen, and 3 bedrooms, each with its own shower room. The villa features several balconies and verandas, ensuring plenty of privacy for 6 people. An additional open loft area with satellite TV and a high-quality spring-core sofa bed can accommodate two more guests. The heated electrolysis pool is extremely gentle on the skin, especially for children. The outdoor area is equipped with comfortable lounge chairs featuring high-quality cushions. An outdoor kitchen with an Australian gas grill rounds out the pool area. (Kali orexi)

The hiking trail to Petres Gorge passes right by the house, just 500 meters away. The location of the house is absolutely unique. Apart from the bells of the sheep and goats, the sound of the sea in the distance, and the hum of the bees, you’ll hear absolutely nothing. Nestled in the midst of unspoiled nature, it’s an almost inspiring, peaceful place with plenty of privacy—perfect for truly unwinding.

Thanks to its close proximity to Rethymno, the location still offers everything a vacationer’s heart desires. Starting with rustic taverns in the neighboring villages of Karoti and Episkopi, our guests can also experience other things. For example, take a stroll through the Venetian harbor of Rethymno to enjoy the wonderful, sprawling old town, or, if you prefer, soak up the great nightlife at the many stylish local clubs. With a rental car, you can reach the rugged and very unspoiled south of the island in about 45 minutes. As you pass through traditional Cretan villages, you can enjoy excellent Cretan cuisine for a modest price. We have deliberately left most of the property to Crete’s wild nature in order to preserve the beautiful and unspoiled vegetation. Only the driveway, the path around the villa, the terrace, and the 8-meter-long heated Roman-style pool are paved.
