Nowadays, Zadar is known for the Sea Organ and the light installation "Pozdrav suncu" (Greeting to the Sun).
Zadar offers beaches, historical architecture, restaurants with Mediterranean cuisine.
The national and nature parks (Krka Waterfalls, Kornati, Plitvice Lakes, Telaica, Paklenica) are also nearby. Nearby is the river Zrmanja, which is famous for rafting.
