Summer in Cilento

We enjoyed 2 hot weeks at this property, which is ideal for two families holidaying together. We explored all the surrounding areas, beaches and historical sights. Michele and his family are great hosts.

We arrived on 14th of July 25, husban, wife, 3 adult children and our holiday was perfect. The villa was within a short walk to the small, beautiful village of Rutino, with very friendly local people, which includes a small village shop, a lovely clothes shop, a pharmacist, cash point and two bars. Our villa was very clean and equipped with everything we needed and included 4 large double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms set out with 2 bedrooms upstairs with the kitchen and a sofa and own front door, and 2 bedrooms downstairs with the kitchen, large family table, own front door. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. There was a lovely warm swimming pool standing height and lots of comfortable sun lounges and parasols plus a table and seating under a gazebo for outdoor dining. Michele, our host met us on arrival and explained everything we needed, including how to use the air conditioning in each room. He always responded quickly to WhatsApp messages and he was very helpful with suggestions for local places to eat. The villa is on the edge of the village in a quiet location and surrounded by olive trees with an amazing view of the valley. A beautiful peaceful setting, 20 minutes drive to the Beach 20 Minutes to the Lake 20 Minutes to Agropoli, a beautiful town with homemade Pizza for 5. Lidl was 20 minutes drive at Agropoli, very cheap by UK standards. We enjoyed gorgeous ice cream in the next village. We will definitely be back!
