Greg was an awesome host, went out of his way to accommodate. Place was incredible, actually 100% better than listed. I don't want to write to many positive aspects, simply because I don't want to NOT be getting this place because it had gotten so famous. Host, property, house and accommodations were above and beyond anything expected. Even for a pair of dirty bird hunters and fly fishermen, oh and a little bird dog. Perfect!!! Thank you and don't go here because we will be back more than once, I can assure you of that!!!!

About the host
Hosted by Greg Douglas
I recently retired and moved to Michigan from Texas. This cabin allows my kids and grandkids to have a place to stay when visiting- but allows my wife and I to stay busy and allow more people to enjoy the beautiful northern Michigan woods and wildlife.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood has a deep woods feel with the State Land across the river and mostly 10 acre lots, yet it is 10 minutes from Grayling. The trail system is accessible from the driveway so there is no need to trailer a snowmobile, side by side or bike to enjoy a trail ride.
What makes this property unique
This property is just ten minutes from Grayling yet offers a beautiful escape to nature. A robust trail system is available for hiking, biking, snowmobiling or trail riding- all right from the driveway. There is State Land across the river which is accessible by hiking or biking. The cabin has been refreshed with new heat, ac, bathrooms and appliances. There are kayaks and trail bikes available to guests, and the screen porch allows the feeling of being in the woods without getting wet on a rainy day. The property is stocked with fire wood for the riverside fire pit and there is a gas grill available for cookouts.
