Guesthouse 'Alte Seifensiederei - Astrid' with Shared Terrace, Garden, and Wi-Fi

The ALTE SEIFENSIEDEREI is a special place of peace and mindfulness in the heart of Bad Tölz, just steps from the historic old town. Newly opened in October 2023.



Simply and stylishly designed holiday apartments invite you to relax and unwind. Here, you can take a break from everyday life, focused on the essentials and free from unnecessary frills, but with plenty of heart and an eye for beauty.



As a seminar house, the ALTE SEIFENSIEDEREI also offers space for various seminars and events. You are welcome to join regular yoga classes or meditation evenings at any time.



The house features its own tea café, where you can enjoy selected teas and coffees from around the world as well as dishes from the natural kitchen. Current opening hours are posted on site.



During the winter break, the tea café is closed on certain days.



The small apartment is simple, stylish, and naturally decorated, with a 140 cm wide bed that can also be used as a small double room, a kitchenette, and a private bathroom.



The beds are made exclusively from natural materials such as solid wood, organic natural latex mattresses, and organic hemp bedding—for a restful sleep.



The kitchenette is equipped with an induction stove, refrigerator, sink, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, dishes, and a small dining table.



The room is named after the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren.

Gute Unterkunft, Kommunikation ausbaufähig

Pros: Lage, einfach und schlicht gestaltet, Ausstattung Küchenzeile Cons: Kommunikation vorab fand quasi nicht statt: Mail, die ich 2 Wochen vor Anreise versendet hab, wurde bis heute nicht beantwortet. Ebenso meine Nachricht über den online Check-In, mit einer für mich wichtigen Frage zu dem Check-In-Ablauf/Zeit. Angekündigte Begrüßungsgetränk musste ich zahlen. Zudem waren diverse Mails und SMS von Bookiply vorab (ca. 10) echt nervig.
