The area surrounding Fossdal will delight nature lovers with numerous hiking trails and nearby water access where a boat is available. Explore the Hovassdalen nature reserve or climb popular peaks such as Skoræ, Skrivarknuten and Homvasshei. At over 1,000 metres, Skoræ is the southernmost peak in Norway and is located in Ljosland. Child-friendly bathing spots such as Lislehylen in Kyrkjebygda ensure relaxed summer fun. Berry picking, fishing and campfires make for an unforgettable holiday for young and old.
