Walk to two private lake beaches, one with a playground and basketball courts. It's about 10 minutes to groceries, coffee, and restaurants, 3 minutes to hiking at Buttermilk Falls, and roughly 20 minutes to skiing at Mount Southington and Lake Compounce Amusement Park. The CT Wine Trail and dozens of local breweries are all within easy reach.

A car is recommended. You're in a quiet lakeside community with quick, easy drives to town, hiking, skiing, and local wineries. Free parking is available on the premises.
