Relax, enjoy and create memories at Sunset Haven, a newly-constructed, single floor cottage overlooking Middle Bay in Harpswell. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, the cottage has an open-designed kitchen, dining and living area offering 180 degree views of the bay and the gorgeous evening sunsets. The property has a private staircase to the shoreline where you can set out for walks at low tide. Access to the neighborhood beach, where you can swim or launch your kayak/paddleboard, is only a 3-5 minute walk away.

The space
The open-designed “grand viewing room” allows more than ample space to prepare and enjoy meals, play board games, do puzzles, watch TV and relax. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, electric range, keurig combo drip and pod coffee pot, toaster oven, toaster, electric hand mixer, blender and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. And of course a lobster boiler, as well as dishes/utensils to use when enjoying boiled lobsters. The covered deck overlooks the bay and has seating for four. A propane grill sits at the foot of the deck and a firepit is in the yard for evening relaxation and s’mores.

Two bedrooms are in the back half of the cottage, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. The bathroom is “split” allowing more than one person’s use at once - one room has a shower and sink and the other has a toilet, sink and washer/dryer.

Summary
Sunset Haven has all you need to enjoy the Maine coast. You can begin the day with your coffee on the deck - watching the lobster boats coming in from their morning haul or the various birds fishing for breakfast. Stroll down to the beach and explore the tidal pools and search for sea glass and smooth pebbles. Take in local attractions or bring your kayak down to the beach for launch. Spend the evening watching a different variation of the sunset from the Grand Viewing Room or the deck and then enjoy some s’mores by the firepit.
