"In't Groen't" is your friendly and very well equipped holiday apartment in the countryside for two to five people with a beautiful, sheltered terrace under old trees in a side street without any road traffic, if you can even speak of "road traffic" on a car-free island. Look forward to a relaxing holiday in our cosy and very comfortably furnished holiday apartment in an excellent location.

Your holiday apartment "In't Groen't" is a three-minute walk from the small Langeoog train station, to which all arrivals are brought from the harbour. This makes arrival and departure very convenient for you. It is only a very short way to the village centre and you can reach the beach and all spa facilities and most leisure activities within a few minutes on foot.

Everything is very manageable here on Langeoog. And whether it's the dunes and the beach that you want to reach, or whether it's the Barkhausenstraße with the many gastronomic offers of the village or whatever corner of our beautiful island your destination may be: Everything is actually very easy and carefree here and most of the attractions are very easy to reach with a small walk.

The island of Langeoog is a special gem of the North Sea coast and is located opposite the ferry and fishing port of Bensersiel on the coast of East Frisia.

On Langeoog there are over 1,500 hours of sunshine a year., Even if it may rain or be hazy on the mainland, the sun shines very often on Langeoog!

In the middle of the "Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park" you will find the whole diversity of the Wadden Sea. There is a seemingly endless beach, a unique coastline to the south shaped by the Wadden Sea. The unique nature here on our beautiful island and its magnificent flora and fauna as well as the associated bird paradises will inspire you. Langeoog is really "the island for life"!

There are almost no cars on Langeoog, because civilian motor vehicle traffic in the conventional sense is not allowed here. There are only a few electric vans and of course the necessary rescue and fire engines. So you can enjoy an enormous peace and quiet here with us on holiday, as it was completely unknown to you until now. And you can simply let your children run and play. Nothing can happen, because the main source of danger of our time is simply not present here: the normal road traffic of the mainland does not take place on Langeoog. They won't get lost either, because the village is quite clear and all the children find their way around surprisingly quickly.

All this, the great nature, the peace and the absence of hustle and bustle and traffic means on the one hand that you will enjoy an enormously high degree of recreational opportunities. On the other hand, this life has of course rubbed off on us islanders! "Let's have a cup of tea for the first time!" will be the motto whenever even a hint of stress or hectic should roam the island and its inhabitants. Most of the time this is not even the case, so we usually drink our tea several times a day without any such reasons! Because the islanders enjoy cosiness and our closeness to nature just as much as you do every day!

So enjoy the sound of the waves and nature together with the islanders, or rather: find your harmony with nature! This is still possible on Langeoog!

The spa facilities, leisure, active sports and gastronomy are extensive, but discreet and not "loud" or even intrusive. You can simply relax well on bike tours across the island to the Meierei and the Osthörn, where you can watch the seals with a bit of luck or to the harbour on the south side, where you can watch the many arriving hobby sailors as they enter the protective harbour.

You can walk along the beautiful kilometre-long sandy beach or enjoy the numerous dune hiking trails. Or you can take a horse-drawn carriage ride around the island. But you can also really feast or have fun in the evening. An extensive entertainment and leisure programme is also offered on request.

The wonderful unpaved sandy beach is particularly beautiful, where you can swim all day long with the caution required at low tide.

Imagine: a balmy summer night and swimming in the sea with the unique sea glow! An increase is simply not possible.
