Wir haben uns in diesem Haus mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern im Alter von fast 3 und 5 Jahre alt sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, für unsere Bedürfnisse war alles vorhanden. Es sind sehr viele Bücher, Spiele, DVDs usw. vorhanden. Wir waren allerdings nur 4 Tage dort und hatten Glück mit dem Wetter, sodass wir nicht darauf zurückgreifen mussten. Ein Kinderhochstuhl war nicht vorhanden. Ich hatte etwas Sorge um die sehr schönen Stühle, die mit weißem Leder bezogen sind. Unsere Kleine konnte aber auf einem höheren Holzhocker (2 Stufentritt) sitzen, sodass wir keinerlei Flecken auf den Stühlen hinterlassen haben. Greetsiel hat einen sehr schönen Kinderspielplatz, auf dem man viele Stunden verbringen kann. Unsere Enkelkinder waren von dem riesigen Hüpfkissen begeistert, das gab es im letzten Jahr noch nicht. Dann können wir noch "Birgits Tiergarten" empfehlen. Der ist nicht in Greetsiel sondern einige Kikometer entfernt. In der roten Mühle, die nur wenig entfernt ist, kann man Brot und Brötchen kaufen. Das haben wir erst später festgestellt. Der Weg zum Supermarkt und dem dortigen Bäcker ist etwas weiter. Mit dem Fahrrad ist man schnell da, mit dem Auto muss man Umwege fahren.
