Great property. Clean. Good location on the beach. Glad we stayed at Malibu 602
The condo was A+, but would still shop around as the price was more than we planned to pay.
Good property BUT great customer service
We booked another property (not this one) through GreatOceanCondos.com. When we arrived (late on a Sunday), the "other property" had some maintenance/construction ongoing that made it unsuitable for us. GreatOceanCondos.com rebooked us at the Malibu and charged us very little for the night we had to stay at the "other property." Had we booked the "other property" directly with the owner, we would have been s@#$ed. Can't write enough positive stuff about GreatOceanCondos.com!!!!
As far as the Malibu - the building was excellent. The pool was very warm and the hot tub perfect (note we have stayed at other properties in NSB that claim heated pool and hot tub that were not so "heated" or "warm"). We were the only ones that used either of them for the 10 days we were at the property. The condo was excellent - very large, clean with lots of upgraded appliances. The beds were comfortable and TVs very large. The WIFI was also excellent. The balcony furniture was a favorite for us - very comfortable. The living room couches were also very comfortable for late night TV after stowing the kids after a long day on the beach, orlando parks, etc. The walk to Flagler is about a mile - which we did once to hit Beachy Beans (great coffee place) but the distance was a bit long for our 4 yr old. It would be fine for adults and our older kids. Right next door is a Tiki Bar that has food and drinks, which we used frequently and was a huge bonus for us - mostly for quick food for the kids (burgers, tenders, fries, etc.).
The Malibu building location is on the driving section of the beach, which took some getting used to. On the weekends, the cars are plentiful, weekdays are quieter. The beach is wide enough that the cars are only an issue at full high tide. For the most part the cars follow the 10 MPH speed limit but I can say that the limit is not well enforced (despite the signs claiming so). The cars are a trade off for being closer to Flagler and not having to drive another 10 minutes further down the peninsula (big deal for us since every other day we were returning at 11PM from the Orlando parks) and being at a property with an actual heated pool !!!!!
Overall a great property in a good location and my hats off to greatoceancondos.com. I will surely book through them on my next trip to NSB.

This is a very beautiful condo. It is super large and very well stocked with everything you would need or want during the week. My family loved every minute staying there together.
My one and only complaint is the air conditioner. Not being able to set it above 74 lead to a lot of sleepless nights all the way around. When it is 95 outside the condo never cooled off.
Malibu vacation rental
We spent a week in this Rental. It was so very spacious, with three bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that was needed. The balcony overlooks the ocean and is very spacious. We were within walking distance to shops and restaurants on Flagler. The Publix was a couple of minutes away as well. This is a great unit in a great location. It is exceptionally well maintained, with a spacious pool and hot tub as well.

We had a fabulous vacation with our 4 young children! The beach front was beautiful and we spent hours playing at the beach. We practically had our own personal pool and hot tub while we were there. The condo building's pool and hot tub were well maintained.
There were nice local parks, Riverside Park, as well as the Lighthouse park that were easy to get to and great for having picnics at.
New Symrna Beach is also conveniently located if you wanted to spend a day in Daytona Beach or Port Orange.
We did not really go out to eat much since the kitchen was great for cooking in and was easier to get groceries and cook while we were there, but there are great restaurants in the area.
We love going on vacation with our young family and this was by far one of our favorite destinations in the past 5 years!

New Smyrna Beach Festivals
The downtown historic district, on Flagler Avenue, is the perfect location for a number of festivals throughout the year. The New Smyrna Beach Food Festival happens every April, offering a tasting of the beach’s best food and drink. The Cinco de Mayo celebration in May is a family fun time with live music and dancing in the streets. In August, the Shrimp and Seafood Festival begins, featuring tons of seafood as well as a display of unique arts and crafts. Jazz lovers come in the droves for the city’s annual Jazz Fest in September, featuring live music on street stages and in local venues around New Smyrna Beach.
New Smyrna Beach Museums and the Arts
The Atlantic Center for the Arts is the backbone of the lively New Smyrna Beach arts scene. The arts center has received great recognition for its eco-friendly design. The complex of buildings houses art exhibitions, performances, and is home to an artist-in-residence program. There are several art galleries in the downtown New Smyrna Beach area, such as Florida Galleria and TaDa Gallery which showcase works of local artists.
