Water, meadows, forests, and hills—and right in the middle of it all, Ulrichshusen Castle, just under 15 km north of Waren-Müritz.

Ulrichshusen Castle, one of Mecklenburg’s most significant Renaissance structures, is now a hotel and attracts thousands of art lovers every year in July and August.

Beginning in 1994 as a dilapidated fieldstone barn, it was elevated to prominence by the opening concert featuring Lord Yehudi Menuhin, the now-restored concert barn is known as one of the main venues of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.



Holiday Rental for Fishing and Swimming:

This holiday rental, featuring its own fishing and swimming dock and a rowing boat, is located directly on Lake Ulrichshusener. A peaceful summer paradise with a large garden.

The apartment features a living room with a couch and TV, and a large kitchen with a dining area and a fireplace. Two hot plates are available for cooking. There is one bedroom with a double bed and another with a bunk bed. The apartment is approximately 300 m from Ulrichshusen Castle and the restaurant “Am Burggraben.” In the summer, concerts of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival take place here.
