Biodynamic Farm with 12 cows, and 12 chickens, 1 farm dog, 2 barn cats and an apiary. Anthony Mecca, farmer and Sam Comfort, beekeeper take care of the farm. All you need to do is sit on the back porch and be entertained. Walking trails, in ground swimming pool (opens in June), greenhouse, barn and stable. The house was built in the 1880's, a beautiful white farmhouse, recently renovated with central A/C, professional kitchen with 60 inch wolf stove, double ovens, and sub zero in eat-in kitchen. Outdoor Dining areas on back porch and poolside. 3 equal sized upstairs bedrooms share 2 full bathrooms, one upstairs one downstairs. Bose I-home in the kitchen, music in the living room. Large flat screen TV in the living room. We can stream from Netflix and watch DVD's from our library. We are not connected to any TV service (happily). We grow biodynamic vegetables and run a Member based CSA that starts in June. It is a special place, both energetically and spiritually. We are on a quiet road, but there are farmers and animals here working. Our farm fresh eggs may be available, if the hens are laying. Very comfortable beds and bedding will be provided.

has a large table that seats 12 comfortably. Three generous sized bedrooms each with a queen size bed with excellent mattresses. 2 full bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs, each with bathtub. Laundry room with bosch full size washer and dryer. There are walking trails to our back fields, and beautiful woods to walk. We are located on a quiet road, perfect for running or biking. Located outside both the towns of Rhinebeck and Red Hook. We have farmers and apprentices that live on the property, but not in the house, that are seeding in the greenhouse, planting in the fields, lunching outdoors, always willing to chat and teach, if you are interested in biodynamic farming. The farm does not open to members until June. The Hudson Valley has much to offer, The Culinary Institute and wonderful restaurants in town, Hyde Park home of FDR, Olana, Bard College, Omega Institute, and much more.
