Modern Loft in the Historic Avenues District

Bedrooms Studio
Property type studio
Minimum Stay 4 - 5 nights

About the property

Studio, 1 Bathroom, Downtown, Convention Center

This is an beautiful, new studio in the heart of the city. It's within walking distance of the convention center or you catch a bus at the stop right on the corner. It's also within walking distance to all of the great downtown sites, and it has all of the amenities that you'll need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

This studio is in a stand-alone building, so you won't be sharing the building with anyone else. It's fully-equipped with everything you'll need during your stay, and had a small washer & dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the appliances & utensils that you'll need during your stay and the dining area will comfortably seat 3 to 4 people. There is plenty of on-street parking.

With this location, you get the best of both worlds: You're inside the city, yet you're in the historic avenues district, which is full of homes that are on the historical registry. There are plenty of restaurants within an easy walking distance, and all of the downtown attractions are very close.

About Cami

I am not a big rental agency that will treat you like a number. I own a few homes that I rent out and I'll treat you like my guests. I take so much more pride in my guests' satisfaction than any of the large rental agencies do. If ANYTHING is not perfect with your stay, I will make it right!

Cami purchased this studio in 2013

Why Cami chose Salt Lake City

We purchased this home because it's so close to everything. It's located right in the lower Avenues downtown, so we couldn't ask for a better location.

What makes this studio unique

You're inside the city, yet you're in the historic avenues district, which is full of homes that are on the historical registry. There are plenty of restaurants within an easy walking distance, and all of the downtown attractions are very close.

Great location. Quiet. Cute loft.

  • 5 of 5

Spent a week in this loft. Spent the days working from the loft while spending the evenings running the many trails in salt lake area. Love the Avenues area. So quiet and the loft was perfect. Comfortable. And the shower has great water pressure perfect for those of us that have to wash long hair. This is now my go to place in SLC.

Plus James and Nick were so nice and helpful when I called.

Great Place in a Beautiful Neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here while skiing at Alta & Brighton and we were very happy with everything about the home. It was very comfortable and there was LOTS of room to spread out. No drawbacks that I can think of so I'll list the best things about the place:

What we liked most:

-- Quiet neighborhood

-- Comfortable bed

-- Friendly management

-- Well-stocked kitchen

-- Lots of cable TV channels

-- Close to lots of fun restaurants

-- Clean!

-- Quiet!

Cozy, efficient, attractive and well located loft in SLC

  • 5 of 5

This is an excellent choice for an on-the-go couple. It is perfectly located in a charming neighborhood close to downtown shops and restaurants. There is a big Grocery store a few blocks away (and the state liquor store as well). You can be out all day and return to a comfortable and efficient place where everything works. The place is nicely and simply decorated -- someone knows how to use IKEA to the fullest! The kitchen is fully stocked with what is needed to cook simple meals -- and then some. The bathroom is great (especially the shower), and there is even a small washer and dryer. It was such a pleasure and a downright necessity to be able to have our dog with us. Couldn't leave him in the SUV (even if he doesn't mind) in 10 degree weather! He loved it and the place is nearly dog-proof anyway. Of course our dog is very well behaved!

Tiny drawbacks: The back entry stairs (especially in winter) are a bit tricky. Very narrow. The furnace is noisy (but good) and when the owner of the big house in front opens the garage door (under the loft) at night it is really noisy! They don't do that very often however.

Thanks especially to James who was at the property when we arrived to make sure all was as it should be and to show us how everything worked. He helped us up some daunting stairs with our luggage. He went over the guide book and told us about the local establishments and sights. We were there over Christmas when it was very cold and snowy and it was warm and cozy inside. When we return in the spring we will certainly try to book this little place again. Thanks so much for your work to make this such a nice experience.

Excellent Management

  • 4 of 5

Stayed here for a month and a half while on business. Very comfortable with all the conveniences of home. Management was every responsive and thorough in answering my questions while making the reservations. When my travel plans had to be altered part way through my stay due to a family emergency that required my attention at home they were very accommodating. I would stay here again!

Excellent service and location.

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at this property for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. Service was exceptional and the property was exactly as described. It is located just a short walk away from the major downtown touristic attractions. Groceries and restaurants are even closer.

I would definitely recommend this property to other travelers and consider it myself for future SLC trips.

Lovely Home in a Beautiful Neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed in lots of VRBO homes in the past few years and this is definitely one of our favorites. Certainly the best for the money! There is a bus stop two doors down from this house, so transportation wasn't a problem. There's also a really great café half a block away that has a great intimate atmosphere - really small neighborhood kind of feel to it. And great food!! The studio itself was well-equipped and more roomy than we expected. It had cable TV, a Roku box with free Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Couldn't have asked for a better place!
