A warm welcome to our holiday rental—open since mid-February. We’re the Hertlein family, and we live above you in the beautiful Old Town. Through 2021, we painstakingly renovated the entire house—which dates back to 1420—with a great deal of passion and dedication. The location is perfect for exploring the most beautiful medieval old town, yet it’s also very quiet. In just a two-minute walk, you’ll reach the Plönlein—one of Germany’s most famous landmarks. Just a few steps away, you’ll find the original medieval city wall, and you can walk all the way around the old town on a city wall tour. The lovely Tauber Valley is right on your doorstep, inviting you to relax and go for a hike. The apartment comes with a garage that you can use for your car. P.S.: The entire building is insulated with eco-friendly materials (cellulose) and is heated with green electricity from Greenpeace Energy and a heat pump. In this lovingly furnished one-bedroom apartment, you can enjoy the perfect getaway. The highlight is the wonderful four-poster bed with a generous 1.80 m wide mattress—no annoying interruptions, so you can sleep snuggled up together all night long. The apartment is open and cosy—ideal for couples, small families, or up to three guests seeking peace and comfort. Across 35 m², you’ll find a modern, fully equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances, including a washing machine. Here, you can enjoy breakfast together, cook, and spend cosy evenings. All the utensils and dishes you need for your culinary creations are, of course, provided. The bathroom is located in a separate room and features a rain shower—perfect for a refreshing break after a day in the old town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Outside, there’s a garden with a sandpit, a mud kitchen, toys, and a trampoline—a true paradise for kids. And our covered patio is available to all guests at any time. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the old town—ideal for a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Payment is due in advance via bank transfer. Check-in & Check-out: Check-in times are flexible. Please let us know your estimated arrival time in advance so we can coordinate key pickup. This will take place either in person on-site or via a key left for you—you’ll receive the details well in advance of your arrival. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Pets are not allowed. Parking fees: 5 EUR per day.
