This large and bright apartment occupies one half of a classic 1924 duplex. You have a private entrance to your own half of the bungalow. The rooms are comfortable, nicely furnished, and updated.The remodeled kitchen and bath have all the usual modern conveniences.

In addition to the king bed in the main bedroom, the living room has a new and very comfortable queen sleeper sofa with a premium mattress. The apartment is super-insulated and stays cool all summer with just a portable air conditioner in the kitchen.
The bathroom is completely updated with granite counter tops, all new fixtures, and cherry cabinetry. A built-in, lighted makeup mirror is a nice plus.
The modernized cook's kitchen has granite counter tops, double stainless sink, cork flooring, and full-size appliances, including a new dishwasher. All the usual fun cooking equipment is provided. Just pick up groceries nearby to cook or order some great take-out from a fine local restaurant.
Relax in the enclosed sun porch, next to the living room, for your morning coffee. Or step out back to grill and dine on your private patio. You will be surrounded by a soothing Asian-styled garden, a flower garden, and the majestic neighborhood trees.
Bonuses: Comes with a guitar and electric tuner if you like to play. Espresso maker works great! Convenient bike storage in basement near your full laundry facilities. Most of the usual baby gear is stored conveniently in the laundry area.

Comfortable and Convenient
We chose this property because of it's proximity to our daughter's house. It was clean and comfortable. The owner was responsive to our needs. It had a lovely backyard.
First home in a new city
We found Moreland Terrace online while looking for the closest home to our new one. We spent a week and half while waiting for our moving van to arrive cross country, strolling the neighborhood and getting to know Portland. After days of meeting friendly strangers and making plans in our new empty home, we would return to a warm welcoming one that had everything we needed. We strongly recommend this Bed and Breakfast for what it offers and the wonderful woman who runs it.
Thanks so much for the kind words! The neighborhood offers so much. The most I can do for breakfast though is point my renters toward one of the great breakfast places within walking distance.
Perfect Thanksgiving getaway
Barbara's hospitality and this beautiful little gem of a cottage made our Thanksgiving holiday one to remember. So much to walk to in Sellwood, including the glorious Westmoreland Park, just a couple of blocks away. Barb treats guests as if they were in a luxury hotel. The glassed-in reading porch is incredible. Highly recommend for a getaway to SE Portland!

Quiet, convenient and comfortable
We love staying at Barb's place. It's spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. The location is perfect for us. It's in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of all the Sellwood attractions (including the MAX stop), and Barb is a wonderful host. We'll be back.

In the heart of a beautiful, quiet, urban neighborhood, this home is just blocks from opportunities to enjoy the Willamette River and three wonderful Portland parks. OHSU and Reed College nearby. The house is thirty minutes or less from the airport, so a car is not really needed. Walking, biking, or taking public transit will quickly get you to almost everything that Portland has to offer.
