The nature around Vallbostrand is extremely varied: here you can experience a mixture of beach, archipelago rocks, open fields, light-coloured deciduous forests and dark pine forests with countless hiking trails and hidden paths. The island borders directly on the Kosterhavet National Park, a unique protected area on the west coast.
