OCEANFRONT CONDO - OCEAN HARBOUR SOUTH DESCRIPTION:

Welcome to our newly furnished and renovated cozy 2 bedroom 2 bath beachfront condominium at 'Ocean Harbour South' in Hutchinson Island. Step out the back of the unit to the pool and beach. No streets to cross. Our unit sleeps 4 to 6 people. Located in the heart of 'The Treasure Coast', exit Condo to the right and you're minutes to Vero Beach, exit to the left and you're minutes to Downtown Fort Pierce. This is a very tranquil area known for it's beautiful, pristine, and uncrowded beaches, shopping, fishing, golfing, biking, relaxing and much more. Enjoy beautiful sunrises directly on the beach in your backyard. You can also see the sunset from the front of the building, setting down on Indian River. Note that this area boasts for being the best fishing and sailfishing capitol of the U.S.
This unit is completely tiled and has crown-molding edges. Everything inside is new. Has just been painted and upgraded.

MASTER BEDROOM & BATH:

Master bedroom has a coastal look with beach theme decor. I call it the "Star Fish" room. There is a King sized bed which has a new set of Sealy Orthopedic mattress for your comfort. Room has a walk-in closet, Hampton Bay ceiling fan, table lamps. Master bath is spacious, has walk in shower. Bedroom has large windows that open and let you sleep or wake to the sounds of the ocean. Linen and bath towels are provided.

GUEST ROOM & BATH:

The guest room has a "nautical" decor, I call this one the Nautical room it has 2 twin sized beds, a walk-in closet, Hampton Bay ceiling fan with light kit, and LCD TV. The guest bathroom has shower/tub combo. The tub has a Jacuzzi which may be used. Linen and bath towels are provided.

KITCHEN:

The kitchen has been newly renovated with completely new cabinets in white, and counter tops have been replaced with marvelous granite. Refrigerator, dishwasher and stove top oven are new. Kitchen has stainless steel microwave, toaster, toaster oven, and coffee pot. Kitchen is equipped with all new appliances like blender, dinnerware, glassware, silverware, and cookware.

Kitchen also has counter area which serves as quick breakfast counter with two counter chairs.

DINING ROOM:

The dining room has a very modern table table which seats 6, and above the dining room a new Hampton Bay fan with lights has been installed.

LIVING ROOM:

Living Room also has the relaxing coastal look with a sofa and love seat. Sofa converts to a Queen size sleeper. There is a 40 in LCD TV, a Blue Ray DVD player-(so don't forget to bring your favorite DVDs). Free cable TV with free HBO is included. Internet is provided. The living room has a Hampton Bay fan with light kit, and there is one set of sliding glass doors which lead out to a covered screened-in patio porch. Beach chairs are provided.

THE COMMUNITY:
Ocean Harbour South is a private gated community located directly on the Atlantic Ocean with beautiful just refinished landscaping, plenty of parking, a renovated clubhouse with several events and activities, a large heated pool (also just re-done), a patio area with plenty of lounge chairs by the pool, 2 gas grills, library with books and games, gazebo with tables and chairs, outdoor showers, restrooms and small fitness center. The building has just been updated with new paint and a new parking lot.

THE AREA:

Hutchinson Island is in a part of Florida called the 'Treasure Coast', it offers miles of pristine beaches, some of the best fishing waters, museums, botanical gardens, a zoo, shopping and outlets, plenty of delicious restaurants and eateries, golf courses, parks, boating. Navy Seal museum is close by. Also short drive (about 2 hrs) to Orlando, Disney World, Sea World, Jon Surf Shops, and Kennedy's Space Center, Also 2 hours to Miami and it's attractions.

We had a wonderful time at this location. Maria was a great host and very communicative. We loved being on the 1st floor to go and come easy from the beach. There wasn't views of the ocean from the property BUT we didn't care. We loved the easy access to the beach and pool for our kids. Definitely fit our families needs. We can't wait to go back.

The condo was just perfect. We were in need of a short term rental while we looked for our new home. The unit was comfortable, relaxing and had everything we needed for our extended stay. We spent every morning and evening walking the beach relaxing after a stressful day of house hunting. The first floor condo made for easy access to the. beautiful beach and pool.

Amazing host/amazing property!

Honestly, I couldn’t give someone a better review if I tried. To start, the host was very professional, kind, and accommodating. Additionally, the property was absolutely adorable! They really thought of everything for the guests staying here. As a travel nurse with a young child, it’s always concerning finding a mew place to stay. For me, it’s been a priority to find somewhere safe and comfortable-after that, the amenities are just bonus…but truly, this stay was so relaxing and had everything I asked for and more. 10 out of 10. If I ever come back to Vero Beach, this is where I’ll be.

Winter Getaway

This was our first trip to Ocean Harbor South and could not have been any happier with our stay. Maria and Jose went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. From the moment we opened the door we felt right at home. We felt very relaxed and loved the beach theme. With the modern, fully equipped kitchen, I enjoyed cooking.They supplied everything you could possibly need for the beach and it's only a few steps from the back door. We enjoyed long walks on the beach, swimming in the ocean, swimming in the heated pool, taking a bicycle ride along A1A, with it's ocean views, and getting a book from their community library and reading on the beach. Everyone is also very friendly. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. There are great bands playing in the area, state parks to visit, many restaurants, and much more. My husband and I are already looking forward to our stay there again next year!

We returned for our second year in Paradise!!! And stayed the whole month:) All we wanted to do this month was REST & RELAX ...and that is exactly what we did! From the moment we stepped in the door...we were so happy to be back. The decor is such that everywhere you turn...everywhere you look...it feels like you are at an oceanfront beachhouse...and it absolutely is:) We open the sliding doors and listen to the ocean....have coffee on the Lani and just relax. Every room is beautifully decorated. We enjoyed cooking together in the condo because the kitchen is so well equipped. We would just pick up some fresh seafood and fresh vegetables & fruit from Publix Grocery (10 min away)...have a glass of wine and just enjoy being in Paradise!!! Ocean Grill (Flounder/Shrimp & Touch of Brooklyn (Veal Marsala) are by far. our favourite restaurants! Peter had fun playing golf & I loved my 2 - 3 hour, daily walks on the beach. Everyone is so friendly, at the pool and on the beach...we made even more friends, again this year. We have already booked for 2017! The owners, Maria & Jose, really go out of their way to make this place so special...they couldn't do enough for us...they were always there for us, if we needed them. We consider both of them true friends. From our hearts, we want to thank both Maria & Jose, for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your Paradise and we look forward to returning next March! A wonderful and quiet December 2015.

We had a wonderful and quiet time at the ground floor condo in the (well maintained) Ocean Harbour South property. The apartment itself was attractively decorated, well appointed and very comfortable. The landlord was most attentive, helpful and generous. Terrific location if you like endless beach walks or want to read the latest Hiaasen on the beach or poolside. Good for quiet time, yet with all the amenities a short ride away.

Paradise!!!

Absolutely beautiful, peaceful and relaxing month in Paradise! Everything you could ask for and more. The unit has a great beach theme, very tastefully done with special attention to detail. New furniture, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and...wait for it...just the very best Jacuzzi tub! Steps to the beach, heated pool, barbeque and parking. For over 11 years we have been spending the month of March in Florida, and have finally found our Paradise. We just cannot believe how friendly the owners and renters are at the pool, beach and social functions at the club house. Publix grocery is 10 minutes away. Vero Beach is 15 minutes away. Peter enjoyed six games of golf. Fairwinds, Indian Hills and Gator Trace Golf Clubs are less than 30 minutes away. Courses all in excellent shape with challenging layouts. Favourite Restaurants; Ocean Grill (Flounder/Shrimp ; Johnny D's Bistro; 12A Buoy Diner (Yellow Tail Snapper/Thai Chili Shrimp); Touch of Brooklyn (Veal Marsala); Sharky's - Clam Chowder & Wings; Manatee (Red Island (Swordfish/Shrimp). What really makes this place so special is the owner's Maria & Jose! From our very first contact (of which they answered immediately), we knew we were in good hands. Maria was very informative, helpful...went above and beyond being an owner....very, kind and considerate..feels more like a friend now. We thank you both for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your Paradise and look forward to returning next March. Blessings!

A beautiful condo on the ocean

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful condo on North Hutchinson Island. This first floor condo is beautifully decorated and is right on the ocean, it’s just steps from the ocean and the pool. We enjoyed out time relaxing and sitting on the beach, working on a tan while watching the waves. The heated pool is a great place to meet and talk with the friendly residents of the condo complex. I have always been an early riser and enjoyed watching the sun rise over the ocean, when the back door slider is open you can hear the ocean. We found many fine restaurants in the Ft. Pierce and Vero Beach area, the condo owner has a book with menus for many local restaurants, we added a few to that book. We were happy with the HBO on the TV and used the DVR to tape movies. The king size bed was very comfortable and the kitchen has all that is needed to make a meal. One of the great things about the area was the weather we enjoyed the warm ocean breeze while there was such a cold winter back home in Massachusetts. The owners of the condo went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. We have been visiting the Vero Beach area since 1985 and this is the best place we have ever stayed in. We are already planning to return next year to this beautiful condo on the ocean.

We chose Ocean Harbour South because visited there and fell in love with the area, full of parks, and beautiful pristine beaches of this Barrier Island. Also, we love the tranquility this place gives when away from the city.

What makes this property unique

Being a Miami Native we love the uncrowded beaches, going fishing, watching and photographing dolphins, manatees, sea gulls, sea birds and all. Shopping at the outlets, and dining at different restaurants and dives. Then coming back to the condo, relaxing by the ocean, slipping out to a new place for dinner, upon return relaxing with some fine wine, and good movie prior to dozing off.
