In summer, experience the impressive nature of the Hardangerfjord up close while swimming, fishing or on an exciting boat trip to Ulvik. Go kayaking on the fjord, visit fruit farms, the Norwegian Nature Centre or the fascinating Ravenheart Viking exhibition. A particular highlight is the majestic Vøringsfossen waterfall, which offers an unforgettable natural spectacle with its free fall of 182 metres. In winter, nearby Maurset is transformed into a paradise for cross-country skiers and winter enthusiasts with 90 kilometres of groomed trails and an atmospherically illuminated night trail.
