In the surrounding area, the Alpilles with places such as Fontvieille invite you to go hiking, horse riding and cycling through olive groves and rocky landscapes. Day trips can be made to Nîmes with its Roman buildings, Avignon with the Palais des Papes, the Camargue with its beaches and wild horses and the elegant city of Aix-en-Provence.
