About Paul & Cindy Nagy
An energetic couple that loves the outdoors. We decided to build our dream vacation home on one of the most beautiful river settings in the world. The property represents our passion for life.
Paul & Cindy Nagy purchased this Lodge in 2013
Why Paul & Cindy Nagy chose Ashton
We love the outdoors, love fly fishing, and chose a location that offers some of the best fly fishing waters on its banks as well as easy access to both Yellowstone Park and Jackson Hole Wyoming. This property is newly build (May 2013) and have only been rented a handful of times.
What makes this Lodge unique
Over 400 feet of riverfront access to the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. So many places to fish (5 minutes away to 1 hour away) in surrounding areas (Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana). Also, very quick access to Highway 20 which provides a perfect location to visit Yellowstone for day trips, or Jackson hole Wyoming for a dinner date.

terrific place for a large family vacation
we went for the 2017 eclipse. 11 Adults, 3 kids, mostly my sons/families and some close longtime family friends. The house and location are terrific. There are two large common areas for TV, reading, music, puzzles, one with a pool table. Plenty of bathrooms to go around. the house itself is smack on henry's fork, of the snake river. Beautiful large deck overlooks the river, facing south.
Unlike many places we have stayed from VRBO (we go with our sons and spouses every year), the kitchen was great. Double ovens, plenty of cooking pots/pans (most places have a fry pan and a pot). We were able to turn out breakfast and dinner for 13 people easily. Even found a pastry brush and hand mixer we used to make whipped cream. Two fridges, so plenty of space for food.
We all loved it. I had a few questions for the owners while there and got immediate email response.
5 STARS, the maximum!
We are very glad that you and your family enjoyed your time at our lodge. We look forward to having you return soon! Thanks for choosing the Wildfin Lodge for your adventures.
Perfect home. We will return!
Truly a home away from home. Convenient, clean, and well equipped. We stayed while fishing area rivers. Can't wait to return.
Thank you for staying at the Wildfin Lodge. We appreciate you choosing our lodge for you and your guests. Please come back again.
Beautiful home in a central, small town close to everything!
Our extended family of 9 had ample room in the home to allow multiple teenagers their space while still having the amenities and ambience for family games and 'tournaments'. We were close to town, close to the hwy directly south of the West Yellowstone entrance, close to fishing, and the sand dunes for ATV rentals! We were pleasantly surprised by the product availability and produce at the small town grocery store too!!
Great experience filled with lifetime memories!!!
Thanks for choosing our Wildfin Lodge. We are very happy that your family enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you all back soon.
Our family of 8, from ages 10 to 75, had an awesome time staying at this beautiful home. We were snowed in totally one day, but it didn't matter because we enjoyed the views, fireplace, doing puzzles and just relaxing! We saw moose and bald eagles every day, and were able to easily drive to Jackson and the Grand Targhee resort. We also rented snowmobiles and took off on a trail right by the house. The house is very nicely furnished, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms well stocked and the pool table kept the kids busy. Had a couple questions about how things worked and Paul responded to my emails very quickly and graciously. Highly recommend this home!
Thanks for choosing the Wildfin Lodge. We are delighted that your family enjoyed your stay. We hope to see you back soon.
Beautiful home in a gorgeous location! Everything that was promised was delivered and then some. We looked for a comfortable home on the famous Henry's Fork River and this was it. The owner was easy to work with and I can't say we were unhappy with anything. The furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen amply stocked, the home immaculate and the access to the river was easy and much appreciated. We will be back.
We very much appreciate your business and are glad that you enjoyed yourself to the fullest. Come back soon. The fish are always hungry - especially the 20" Browns.
Amazing house! Great vacation!
The house is beautifully decorated and stocked with essentials. The property is even better than pictured. There was plenty of room for our whole family to be comfortable. The pool table and hot tub provided fun activities after a day of sightseeing in Yellowstone. The location on the river is private and peaceful. Ashton has a small grocery store and a handful of good restaurants. I highly recommend this property for vacationers. Thank you for opening your home to us!
Jeff we are very glad you enjoyed your stay at our lodge. It sounds like your family had a wonderful time. Hope to see you back soon.

FLY FISHING: World-class fly fishing on the Henry’s Fork (named the favorite river by members of Trout Unlimited). With over fifty miles of compelling and remarkably varied water, an angler can spend days on end without fishing the same stretch and constantly experiencing different angling situations. SIGHT SEEING: Ashton and surrounding areas offer a plethora of sight seeing options. See beautiful Mesa Falls just minutes away from the lodge, to Yellowstone National Park 45 minutes away, to Jackson Hole, WY 1 hours away…the possibilities are absolutely endless. MOTOR CROSS: Located far from any ocean, the St. Anthony Sand Dunes appears as a rolling sea of sand on the eastern edge of Idaho’s volcanic Snake River Plain. These vast dunes are the largest in Idaho. They blanket an area approximately 35 miles long and 5 wide, and range from 50-500 feet high. SNOWMOBILING: The Ashton-Tetonia Trail officially opened in 2010 and extends nearly 30 miles between the towns of Ashton and Tetonia, Idaho. The trail occupies an abandoned rail spur once operated by Union Pacific (the Oregon Short Line). The trail includes five bridges and restored rail trestles. The gravel trail is managed by State of Idaho Parks and Recreation and is open to snowmobiles in winter.
