The wonderful fisherman’s house Ty Nog is located in Pors Poulhan, a small harbor village on the southern coast of the Finistère—an area that feels as if Brittany decided to preserve a piece of its own soul right here.
The air carries salt, sun, wind, and sometimes the surprising mildness of the Gulf Stream. It’s a place that slows you down the moment you arrive, without any effort.
Our holiday home sits in the first row, just a few steps from the Atlantic Ocean, nestled between the harbor, the cliffs, and the wide horizons of the Breton coast. If you leave a window open at night, you can hear the sea breathing—steady, calm, reassuring.
Ty Nog is not a luxuriously renovated holiday rental, but an authentic fisherman’s house that doesn’t hide its age—it transforms it into warmth, comfort, and a sense of real simplicity. Perfect for those seeking peace and quiet, watching the sea and the clouds, or enjoying a book and a cup of coffee while the tides do their work outside.

📅 Minimum Stay & Times
– minimum stay: 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday)
– shorter stays possible in spring, autumn, and winter upon request
– check-in from 4:00 pm
– check-out by 10:00 am
🔌 Electricity
50 kWh per week are included in the rental price.
Additional consumption is charged at €0.25 per kWh and deducted from the security deposit.
Meter readings are recorded by the owner upon arrival and departure.
💶 Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit of €300 is required.
It covers possible damages as well as extra electricity consumption.
The deposit is paid by bank transfer before arrival and is refunded within 14 days after departure, minus any applicable charges.
🧽 Cleaning
Final cleaning: €100 per stay.
If you bring a dog: €15 per dog per week.
🧾 Tourist Tax
The local tourist tax is expected to be €0.90 per person per night
(based on a 3★ classification by OT29).
It is collected either by the owner or, if activated, via FeWo-Direkt.
📶 WiFi
WiFi is available free of charge; speed depends on local conditions.
Guests are responsible for any legal violations (e.g., illegal downloads).
