About the property

3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bathrooms, sleeps 9

We're excited to share our home with you. We purchased this 3 bedroom 3.5 bathroom mountain retreat in 2014. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom and TV for maximum privacy and flexibility during your stay. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms; one with a king bed, the other with a queen bed. The bottom level has the bunk beds room with a twin/ double bunk as well as a twin/twin bunk. The main level features an open floor plan with a fully equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, a bathroom, large dining table, flat screen TV, DVD player, and TWO outside decks, one with a new big Jacuzzi on it (2017).

We want your stay to be really pleasant. We offer free wi-fi, free access to Netflix on the TVs, 200 cable TV channels, a laundry room with washer/dryer, ski storage, games, and opportunities to make lots of memories! The bus route is 75 yards down the street and it is an 8 minute bus ride to Peak 9 (the bus will also take you to the Gondola if you'd like). During the summer, there are hiking and biking trails right out the front door and Main Street is less than a 10 minute walk downhill along the river. We love that we are able to share our house with you and hope you will enjoy it. Keywords: House, Broken Lance, bus route, hot tub, private, garage, hiking, bunk beds, fireplace.

About Kevin Hulbert

I have a beautiful wife and three beautiful kids who all love to ski. I retired from a career of U.S. Government service in 2014 and started my own consulting business, XK GROUP. Living in Washington, DC, we get out to Colorado as often as we can, but it makes sense to us to share our home with others rather than to leave it vacant for most of the year.

Kevin Hulbert purchased this house in 2014

Why Kevin Hulbert chose Warrior's Mark

Our house is in the perfect location. It's in Breckenridge, but not right downtown. It is a short, 75 yard walk to the bus stop and the free bus takes you anywhere in town you want to go. You can also walk downtown, if you want. During the summer, you can walk or bike to town in less than 10 minutes to enjoy the festivals and restaurants the town has to offer. In the Winter, we pull our ski boots on, throw our skis over our shoulders, and clomp downhill 75 yards to the free bus stop. Five to ten minutes later, we are clicking into our bindings and are on the slopes at Peak 9. The neighborhood around the house is private and very quiet. The river and Four Ponds are just down the street and Maggie Pond is a four minute bus ride away. Our family loves being this close to the ski slopes and town, but also being where we can enjoy the privacy of a nice little neighborhood

What makes this house unique

We bought this house in 2014 and made some renovations. We have tried to provide all the comforts we have at home so that our vacation is really a vacation! The big living area, with two couches, a fireplace, the kitchen island, the dining room table, and the hot tub off the deck make for a great atmosphere to hang out together on vacation. Then, when folks head back to their bedrooms for a bit of privacy, each has their own bathroom and television. The location is perfect... Not quite downtown with all the noise and issues, but close enough that you can walk downtown, or jump on the free bus, and be there in minutes.

What a fantastic time we had at this place in Breck! It is close to everything, the free shuttle gets you to the mountain or town within minutes but if you don't want to take the bus it's a short enjoyable walk to everything you need as well. There are two decks at the place the one is smaller and we used it hang out outside and enjoy a cigar and then other is larger with a brand new HOT TUB! the hot tub was a real treat, there was plenty of space for everyone and the jets were powerful and just what the doctor ordered after a long day on the slopes. I loved that there was a bathroom for every bedroom and even a half bath on the main level. The floors are heated and there is a fire place which just makes everything feel more cozy. Highly recommended for a family or group of friends. I also really liked that the house provided the basics to help get your stay started (there was salt and pepper, condiments in the fridge, TP, paper towels ect...) we were sure to leave things for the next guests as well since, we appreciated it so much upon our arrival. Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us, I will absolutely be back!

Very nice homely place to stay in Breckenridge

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at this property in the month of June and we absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay. Great location and well maintained. We enjoyed the brand new hot tub on a big patio. In case of any issue, the response time of the owner and the hot tub maintenance company was awesome. Before our arrival, the owner provided a comprehensive information which turned out to be very useful for our stay. The kitchen was stocked well and had everything that you need to cook. Bought groceries from the nearby market and we were all set. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Breckenridge.

Amazing Ski House

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed at this house for my past two ski trips to Breck and have had a phenomenal experience each time. Not only is the skiing amazing but the fact you have a large hot tub to come back to allows for you to punish yourself on the mountain and soak all the soreness away at the end of the day. The overall layout of the house allows all guests to have their personal space while also providing a middle floor for the whole group to enjoy together. With regards to access to the town and mountain it is very convenient with public busses running throughout the day/evening. All and all, I would highly recommend this house to my friends & family for their next vacation stay.
