OBX Star is a premier vacation home perfectly situated in the beautiful sound side area of Corolla Light Resort (reservations and payments managed by Brindley Beach Vacations!). Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the front decks, kayaking the waters around Currituck Heritage Park, and walking along the piers and nature trails at the edge of the sound. When you are ready to head to the beach, jump on the trolley (seasonal) or stroll along the shaded walking path leading to the Oceanfront Pool Complex (only 500 yards away) and enjoy three pools, beach access, and a host of services and activities exclusively for resort guests. And be sure to walk, bike, or take the trolley to the Indoor Sports Complex for indoor swimming, tennis, and racquetball: As a guest of OBX Star, you have full access to all Corolla Light Resort amenities!

The best part of your vacation is that all of this is experienced from the comforts and conveniences of this beautiful home. Find your own space with six bedrooms and two living areas. Swim in your own private pool, relax in the hot tub and lounge on the expansive decks. Ride the house bicycles, play billiards in the game room, or paddle one of the house kayaks around the sound. Property Management: OBX Star is professionally managed by a property management company that is responsible for making sure that everything is to your satisfaction during your stay. The property management company facilitates rental contracts and payments, check-in/check-out, cleans the house prior to your arrival, makes all beds with fresh linens, provides two sets of towels for each guest, services the pool and spa twice during your stay, and are always available to ensure your comfort and convenience. Rental contract available upon request.

Amenities: Corolla Light amenities for 12 guests are included in the rental rate. All towels and linens included. Private pool (11x22, open mid May to mid October), spa, wireless internet access, cable television, 6 LCD TVs, 3 DVDs, 2 VCRs, 2 iPod players, video library, pool table, bicycles, kayaks, outdoor shower, 2 gas fireplaces (available November 1-April 30), charcoal grill, gas grill, beach chairs, high chair, pack-n-play, parking for 4 vehicles, and community water. Ground Level: The lower level features a game room with billiards table, LCD TV/DVD, and iPod player. Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets, Queen Bedroom, and a full hall bathroom.

Mid Level: The mid-level features a tile-lined foyer entrance welcoming you to a comfortable living area complete with gas fireplace, TV/DVD/VCR, wet bar, mini-fridge, and entrance to the hot-tub deck. Queen Master Bedroom with LCD TV and full bath, Queen Bedroom with LCD TV, Bedroom with DuoBunk plus Trundle, full hall bathroom, and laundry.

Top Level: The top level saves the best for last with a spacious great room area with gas fireplace, LCD TV/VCR/DVD, CD/iPod player, well-equipped kitchen with adjoining breakfast bar, dining room, and a King Master Bedroom with LCD TV, Jacuzzi bath, shower, and double vanity area. OBX Star is located in the award winning Corolla Light Resort. Guests of OBX Star have access to all Corolla Light amenities including the ocean front pool complex (three oceanfront pools, restaurant, basketball courts, shuffleboard, and playground), indoor sports complex (25-yard swimming pool, fitness center, indoor tennis courts, racquetball), tennis courts, nature trails, fishing ponds, and trolley service (in-season).

Cleaning Fee $140

OBX Star rents Saturday to Saturday during the In and Shoulder Seasons. Check in time is 4:00pm; check out time is 10:00am. OBX Star is managed by a professional property management company; management company is responsible for reservations, contracts, and payment. Additional rental terms and conditions or full rental contract available upon request.

Cancellation of a confirmed reservation requires written written notification of cancellation signed by the Leaseholder that can be sent via mail, fax or email. The rental home must re-rent for the original rental amount in order for tenant to receive a full refund on rent paid (less a $150 plus tax cancellation fee). If the home is re-rented for a reduced rental rate the difference will be taken from the advance payment paid, less a $150 cancellation fee (plus tax). If your cancellation is successfully re-rented and confirmed, you will be refunded the rent and taxes paid, less a $150 cancellation fee (plus tax).

Total cost will be the Weekly Rate, Cleaning Fee ($140), and state and local taxes of 12.75 percent. Signed Lease Agreement and advance payment of 50% of the Weekly Rate are due within 10 days of making your reservation. Final payment is due 30 days prior to arrival and will include the second half of the weekly rate, taxes, and cleaning fee. Payment options include credit card, check, e-check.

Manager's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
