Thank you for your feedback and happy to hear that the house had great space for you and your family and that you loved the location. We were also pleased that we were able to have the cleaning crew return to the house immediately upon learning of the issues you identified. As with most if not all property management companies on the Outer Banks, labor shortages persist and there are those rare occasions when a cleaning crew does not perform to the level we expect for our guests. We have certainly discussed your experience with our property management company so they can address such issues and ensure they are not repeated. A quick note to future guests: There is indeed a vent in the twin bedroom! Thank you again for choosing OBX Star and all the best to you and yours.

Hi Tina, Thank you for choosing OBX Star for your Outer Banks vacation and for taking the time to submit a review! I am sorry to hear there were a few issues with regard to housekeeping - please know that we have addressed them with the property management company and furthermore that they will be better prepared for the first rental week of the season in the future. Notwithstanding, we are so happy to hear that you and your family loved the house and had a great time on your vacation. Thank you again and all the best! Regards, Vaughn

Hi Kim, Thank you for choosing OBX Star for your Outer Banks vacation and for taking the time to submit a review. We are glad the property management company promptly addressed the small issues you noted above. Unfortunately - as as everyone in the south knows - it only takes someone to leave a door or window for a few minutes at night to attract insects. It is for instances such as this why we tell all guests to reach out if anything is not to their satisfaction! So happy you found the home spacious and perfect for your family, and would look forward to hosting you again on a future OBX vacation. All the best! Regards, Vaughn

Hi Lindsey, Thanks so much for the review and feedback! It was a pleasure communicating with you leading up to your trip and we are so happy you all had a wonderful time. Hi Matt, Thank you for choosing OBX Star for your Outer Banks vacation and for taking the time to submit a review. It was a pleasure communicating with you and so great to hear you enjoyed the house and your stay. Regarding the availability of some basic items: We appreciate you noting this in your review for the benefit of potential guests. It is standard practice of property management companies to remove any 'shared' items for health and safety reasons, and we will of course continue to relay this information in our various pre-arrival communications with guests. Again, thank you for staying with us and we would look forward to hosting you and your family in the future! Regards, Vaughn
