The garden is a cosy "sand garden" with lots of projects and sculptures, as you will be living with the artist Sonja Jannichsen. Her studio is on the upper floor and if you wish, you can also take painting lessons here during your holiday.

The flat is wonderfully quiet, close to the North Sea and you live without the hustle and bustle of tourists.
The large living room with its long table invites you to get together, play games, eat and of course paint. Each room is equipped with a LAN connection so that a stable internet connection is guaranteed.

The North Sea is only 13 kilometres away. You can reach it by bike (approx. 40 min ride), by car (approx. 12 min ride) or by tram, which is only 3 km away.

From Dagebüll and Schlüttsiel you can then reach all the islands and Halligen (Föhr, Amrum, Hallig Hooge, Hallig Langeneß). Day trips there are easy and beautiful. And when you come back to the "Wohnen am Meer" domicile, you can enjoy the peace and quiet - far away from the hustle and bustle.

If you want to discover Sylt, you can go to the railway station in Niebüll (approx. 5 km away). You can only get to Sylt by train. Or via Denmark (Römö) by boat.

Oh yes, Denmark is of course not far away either. You can be in Tønder in 20 minutes by car.

Location description : Risum Lindholm is still originally North Frisian. Here you will find the locals who still speak the original language "Frash (Frisian)". Frisian culture is very important here. For example, the Bigge always takes place on 21 February, followed by a kale feast. (big fire to drive away the winter). Life here is quiet and rural. Everything is within easy reach and everything is available in the village. Here you can still get your milk directly from the farmer or have local vegetables, fruit or meat delivered. There are also farm shops here.
There are only small thatched-roof houses and detached houses. The word "high-rise" does not exist in "Frash" and therefore not in Risum Lindholm :).
Other sports and leisure facilities : Special features:- Niebüll is a school town. You can enrol in many further education courses- Niebüll is a competition town for swimmers, so you will not only find an indoor swimming pool with long lanes in Niebüll, but also a "fun pool" in Leck and various outdoor pools in KLixbüll, Risum, Neukirchen, etc.- For all extreme sports enthusiasts: They should definitely take part in the Frisian triathlon and the annual anvil race is not for "wimps", but is a lot of fun!- Golf can be found not only around the corner on the mainland in Leck and Tondern (Denmark), but also on Sylt and Föhr- The riding tournaments in Niebüll are legendary and are major highlights of the town- If you like it quiet and tranquil, come to the annual "Osteralarm", where 100 Easter bunnies scurry through Niebüll every Saturday before Easter, handing out colourful eggs.
