type of building: Multiple-family dwelling. Studio apartment (30 m2) on 6th floor of a 6-storey chalet with a lift, in the center of the village (pedestrian zone), north-west facing position. It is an L-shaped studio with one comfortable double bed (140x200 cm) and two adult-sized bunk beds (90x200 cm) with high quality mattresses, dining table with 4 chairs, stereo/DVD player and a 32" LCD TV with cable channels, a collection of films. Kitchenette (3 hotplates, baking oven), refrigerator and a microwave oven. Separate shower room and WC. Bed linen and towels are not included but are available for rental (or you can bring your own).
The chalet is located right at the foot of the piste, so it is possible to ski practically up to the door. From the window one can see the Village ski lift (free, no ticket necessary) and its entire piste. There is a private heated locker downstairs for the skiing equipment. There are two pairs of skis there (carving, 165cm) which guests can use if they wish. The studio is ideal for 2 adults but can accommodate up to two adults and two children. There is fast WiFi (100 Mbps) and there is a laptop PC in the studio. Two sunning recliners included for exclusive use on the common terrace.
SUMMER SPECIAL: Anzere Liberte cards are included, which provide free use of swimming pools, tennis courts (tennis racquets and balls are provided), local bus, half-price rides in the gondola, and more!
The apartment is located at the very center of Anzère which has a cozy atmosphere of a community due to unique layout around a large car-free public area. Just downstairs are a nice restaurant, a bakery/cafe, a pizzeria, a painting studio (great for kids) and a sports shop. Only a few steps away in the same public area are other restaurants, bars, shops, a wellness center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an ice skating rink (free), a sledging slope with a Magic Carpet skilift (also free) and a large playground.
The gondola operates in the summer and is only 300 meters from the chalet. It is allowed to take bikes (available for rent) up in the gondola and there are some incredible biking paths from the top (or middle) of the mountain down to the village, or along the Bisse. One can also rent special fat tire scooters for going down the slopes. Crans-Montana with its world famous golf courses is only a few kilometers away.
