Vacation Rental in Taura – Your Comfortable Home Away from Home

We offer you a modern and cozy vacation rental on the first floor of our home in Taura. Enjoy a relaxing getaway in peaceful surroundings and take advantage of the proximity to numerous attractions in the region.

Location:
Taura is located just about 15 km from downtown Chemnitz. You can reach the city by car in about 20 minutes. Mittweida is also nearby—just 12 km or a 15-minute drive away. Motorsport fans won’t have far to go either: The Sachsenring (MotoGP) is about 30 km away and can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.

The Vacation Rental: 
With 65 m² of space, our vacation rental offers plenty of room for up to 4 people and features the following rooms:

• 1 bedroom with a double bed

• 1 living room with a sleeper sofa (sleeping area approx. 200 x 140 cm, suitable for 2 people)

• 1 fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher

• 1 large bathroom

• 1 hallway

All rooms (except the hallway) have windows. The bedroom is also equipped with exterior blinds for blackout.

• Minimum stay: 2 nights

We provide a travel crib free of charge upon request. Prices include all utilities such as electricity, water, and heating, as well as bed linens and towels.

Notes:
• Out of consideration for our next guests, smoking is not permitted in the vacation rental.
• Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Special features: 
Enjoy the idyllic garden with several seating areas. In the summer, the large pool (approx. 4 x 7 m) is perfect for relaxing. For our younger guests, we offer a treehouse, a nest swing, a sandbox, a slide, and a trampoline.

A wallbox for charging electric vehicles is also available.

Suggested day trips in the area:
• Markersdorf Museum Railroad Station: Just a 5-minute walk away, this station offers a great experience with train rides, events, and special trips.
• Sonnenlandpark Lichtenau: An amusement park with family-friendly admission prices (approx. 20-minute drive).
• Klein-Erzgebirge Miniature Park: Experience highly detailed miniatures of the Ore Mountains (approx. 40-minute drive).
• Wettinhain Burgstädt: An idyllic park with a duck pond and an adventure playground (approx. 5-minute drive).
• Köbe Nature Park: Featuring a playground, a pond, and numerous animals such as donkeys, sheep, and goats (approx. 20-minute drive).
• Kriebstein Dam: Explore the dam by boat or visit the nearby Kriebstein Castle (approx. 30-minute drive).
• Chemnitzer Küchwald Park Railroad: A highlight for children with a large adventure playground (approx. 20-minute drive).
