This premium 686 sq ft condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away. The condo has been thoughtfully designed for a historic 'Queen Ann feel' and is ideal for out of town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. High ceilings and large bay windows bring lots of natural light to the space. Updated bathroom, appliances and other amenities are complimented by the refinished, shining oak floors reminding visitors of the old times. The master bedroom comes with a private full bathroom and king-sized mattress and solid wood bed frame. The entire bedroom set, with nightstands and a dresser, are brand new. The living room with a gigantic couch is made for relaxation. Search the web using high speed wireless internet or watch a movie on the HD flat screen TV. Read a book or just kick back and enjoy the views. The kitchen is top notch, compact and gourmet with a gas Viking range and oven. The dishwasher is hidden within a cabinet, as well and the refrigerator. A compact washer and dryer are also tucked within the hall closet area. There is plenty of organized storage closets for hanging clothes both in the bedroom and in the hallway of the condo.
Along with this clean, comfortable and secure condo come the additional onsite features for relaxation and entertainment:
- An entirely renovated, communal basement lounge, and party room including an official-sized pool table, a big-screen Cable TV and comfortable seating. Also, an icebox, sink, toilet, and washer and dryer are easily accessible.
- A classic, fenced garden with a large communal patio including chairs, tables, benches and a propane Viking grill.

The condo is conveniently on the first floor with street and mountain views – Only steps away from downtown, Hip Strip and the Clark Fork River and Trails.

Great Spot in Missoula

Bab's is a well appointed home away from home in a great location. Right on the hip strip, a pleasant walk away from just about everything in central Missoula. A great place to stay to feel like you're at home.

A little slice of historical heaven… such charm!

Great property, great location very walkable to restaurants, shops and bars. Very clean, has everything I needed to work and and enjoy my time there. Great little pastry and coffee shop right across the street went there daily. They have a bakery right onsite… very French pastries! I’d plan my stay here again when in Missoula.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bab’s. Jenni was an excellent host - responsive, clear directions. The location was perfect - within easy walking of downtown, U of M campus, and several awesome bakeries for morning coffee and pastries/doughnuts. The condo was exactly as described. Beautiful wood floors and older architecture. Would definitely stay again when in Missoula. Highly recommend!

A nice convenient place

Would stay there in a heart beat. Missoula is known for bad traffic but the Babs is an easy place to travel from. Good directions from the owners both for arrival and entering the unit. The senior center is a block away offering a $5 lunch and a good italian restaurant is located 50 feet away more than $5. Ying and yang.

Nice condo in great location

Wonderful 1 bedroom condo surrounded by good neighborhood restaurants and the Clark Fork river. The condo was really nice and comfortable. The bed was a bit stiff for us, but if you like temperpedic type mattresses you will love this place. The condo is in walking distance of the university and downtown area. The Italian restaurant and bakery were terrific. Bonus was having the river trails right there for morning and evening strolls. Check in and out were easy and the condo was well appointed.

Historical Treasure

Let’s be honest, I’m not wanting to give a good review for selfish reasons. If my daughter ends up going to UM, I want to be able to reserve this place every single time. The location couldn’t be beat and everything we needed was in walking distance. The Bab’s was stunning and communication with the host was quick and simple. All selfishness put aside, this place is highly recommended and affordable!

Beautiful place

I was pleasantly surprised by the apartment in it’s present form. The last time I saw the inside of The Babs was 1998, and it’s a beautiful piece of Missoula history. The apartment has been renovated, and is more comfortable now than back then, while retaining its original charm. Immaculately clean, aesthetically pleasing, and spacious, walking distance from the university and downtown, and the host(s) are incredibly friendly and helpful people. Without question I’d stay there again, and recommend it highly to anyone visiting Missoula.

Great Condo!

This condo is wonderful and Jenni was really amazing. Everything is exactly as pictured and the location is great for walking to the local bars and restaurants. You can walk as far across the bridge as you'd like or pop just around the corner for dinner. The condo is conveniently located a short trek from the downtown, various markets, and the school campus. We had a really great time and I cannot say enough nice things about Jenni. She was prompt in her communication, flexible, and really accommodating! Missoula was both relaxing and fun and we would definitely want to stay at the condo if we were to visit again.

Babs condo on Riverfront

This place is a beautifully decorated place in a great location to downtown and walking distance to most anything in the historic area of Missoula. If you like old historic but classy and very clean with modern amenities , this place is perfect. It was a bit stuffy the first day And no A/C in main living space made it pretty sweltering. Luckily , fans were provided and by our second day had improved air circulation. Bruce and Betsy Peck

Missoula, as for many people, is a special place to us. It is where we met as students in college and where we always knew we wanted to call home. After school, however, life and work took us to Asia, Finland and New York City, before we could both settle back in Missoula together and start our family. Now with our daughter Maija, we are pleased to share all that the Missoula community has to offer with visitors at our Bab’s condo.

Why they chose this property

Jenni first came to Missoula as an exchange student attending grad school from Finland. She immediately fell in love with the surrounding landscape and community but most of all Kurt. Kurt’s family is from the area and always knew the Montana lifestyle was the only one for him. They both enjoy the outdoor and cultural opportunities Missoula has to offer including skiing up Pattee Canyon, taking their daughter Maija to Missoula’s award winning Children’s Theater or enjoying Missoula’s restaurants, breweries and distilleries. They feel fortunate to call Missoula home and are pleased to share their love of the area with each of their guests.

What makes this property unique

The Babs is one of Missoula’s premiere historic buildings. Located near several of Missoula’s gems including downtown, the Kim Williams trail and the University, visitors can easily walk or bike to restaurants, shopping, bars, and hiking trails. Not to mention the best ice cream (The Big Dipper), pastries (Le Petite) and beer (Kettle House) are just around the corner. In addition, the condo itself is fully stocked with the comforts of home including a full-kitchen, children’s amenities (pack n’ play, high chair, books and toys as well as eating utensils) and king-size temperpedic bed. The Babs also offers a rec room with pool table and a garden area with a Viking grill available for guest use.
