Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. This is the first whole ownership condo to be built on Kaanapali Beach in over 30 years. Most of the competition is requiring their owners to remodel their units to stay competitive with Honua Kai. This particular ocean view 2 bedroom is located in the inner courtyard.

Great Unit, Great Service and a Greater Ocean View

We were told that Konea 703 was one of the very best 2 bedroom units at Honua Kai and that is the truth. What a hassle free experience from beginning to end. We are happy that we found are "go to" people to rent from on Maui. Thank you Joe and Rhonda.

Oh, WOW!

Upon walking into this spacious, clean, nicely furnished unit and across the living room to the hugh, well furnished lanai, I believe I gave out a loud "Oh, WOW!" I was surprised to see the great ocean view! The pictures and reviews had not done this place justice!! The ocean view is close and expansive! We had stayed in a deluxe ocean suite at the Hyatt Andaz in Wailea, an ocean front condo at the Hyatt Ka'anapali Residence Club on this trip also, and this 7th floor condo was, in our opinion, the best. It was spacious, clean, had a well equipped full kitchen, washer and dryer, huge lanai, 2 bedrooms with very comfortable king beds, 2 full, large bathrooms, and tons of beach equipment for convenience. Joe was professional and great to do with. He and Rhonda made our stay easy.

Mahalo Joe and Rhonda. We highly recommend your unit 703 and will absolutely stay there again!

Beyond Expectations!

This condo exceeded all of our expectations! The Honua Kai is a great property with great pools, great amenities and very helpful staff. But this particular unit's views can not be described. The placement of this unit gives you tremendous views of the ocean and whale watching was amazing during our trip. The interior of the unit is very clean and well furnished. The unit has everything you might need from binoculars to beach chairs and everything in between. The hardest decision of the trip was talking myself into leaving the lanai. We didn't need anything while at the unit, but Joe was very helpful on our arrival and I saw him on property during our visit.

Can't wait to return

We stayed here for 7 nights and can't wait to go back! Being on the 7th floor was incredible. We really enjoyed the privacy of an end unit with unobstructed views of the sunset. We went paddle boarding and saw several turtles just off the beach in front of the resort. The unit is immaculate and Joe made us feel right at home. He met us in the lobby, escorted us up and walked us through the unit. There is plenty of cooking equipment in the unit and we loved having meals on the lanai. This was so much better than being at a hotel! We can't wait to come back during whale season.

Pre-Christmas escape

Just came back from my week long stay at Honua Kai and have to say it could not have gone any better. After a day of traveling Joe met us when we pulled up to the resort. Told us to hand the keys to the bellman (as valet parking is free now) and have them bring your bags up to the unit. It's the best check in experience we have ever had. We got out of our car and were in the unit within 5 minutes. We got a quick but thorough briefing of the unit and how things work at Honua Kai. There is no front desk for VRBO users which was not an issue for us. As Joe told us, "You either call me or 911, there is no in between." We never needed anything so we didn't have to contact him, but we did see him on the property. And the unit is spectacular! It's spacious and clean, but you rent this one for the ocean views. Not only do we highly recommend this unit, we recommend sunset mai tai's at Duke's and breakfast at The Gazebo

THE BEST!!!

If you are looking to stay in the best..... This was it..... GREAT views..... super Attentive hosts ..... Joe and Rhonda were always available if needed.... Very clean and comfortable room.... everything you could ever need was there for kitchen and baths...... I can't wait to go back and would choose this room again in a heartbeat..... I've stayed in other rooms at Honua Kai and they are all nice .... Beautiful grounds throughout.... BUT this room because of the best views as well is a 10 ... We spent several hours on the lanai watching the days and nights..... BOOK IT ... you won't be sorry... except as you close the door to go home that it's over
