The 3BR, 2Ba home has an airy open feel with wood floors throughout. It was recently renovated with modern stainless steel appliances and marble counters. The kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances like blender, toaster, coffee maker, etc. There is also a full sized washer and dryer in the house. The living room is large with an oversized sofa and a big screen cable TV. The maser bedroom has it's own bathroom and a queen bed. The other bedrooms are roomy - one has a queen bed and the other has two twins, that can be converted to a king upon request. There is a large backyard with a BBQ. There is a long driveway and carport. Sunsets from the front porch are out of this world. The location of the house is outstanding. You are minutes from the University of Arizona, UA Medical Center, Arizona Inn, Botanical Gardens, Zoo, Coffee Shops, Restaurants and Shopping - to name a few.
"Love at first sight" describes our initial reaction to this charming bungalow in the Historic Catalina Vista neighborhood - the only disappointment being that it was already rented for next March before we could reserve it. The house is cleverly and comfortably decorated and clean. Its location is very convenient to many good restaurants, grocery stores, golf courses, bike and hiking trails, the Trolley line, art galleries, the U of A and other sight seeing ventures. When two other couples visited us for four days, it was not at all crowded feeling. There was plenty of living space, both inside and out - the back garden/patio was perfect for fun camaraderie as well as great bird watching. The owner was easily accessible and attentive, taking care of a couple of minor house needs immediately. We highly recommend this cozy rental for adults and for families with children.
I came to Tucson for a wedding that was to be held at the Arizona Inn. The location was perfect and I would highly recommend for anyone attending events at the Arizona Inn or at the U of A campus. The location was great as there was easy access to major roads- Grant and Campbell to get around town. Also, there are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store close by. Air conditioning and plenty of fans kept the house cool in the hot AZ heat. The house was very well decorated and comfortable. Three adults and two children stayed very comfortably during my visit along with having other family members come and go.
The owner was very nice and flexible about setting dates and check in and out times. The owner also was always easy to communicate with whether it be emailing back and forth beforehand or being available by phone during my stay.
The property is located in central Tucson. It's just minutes from the University of Arizona that houses several museums, shops, coffee shops, theatre, sporting events and restaurants. It is also minutes from the University of Arizona Medical Center and Cancer Hospital. The area is plush and green for Tucson and it is a lovely walk to the historic Arizona Inn. The Az. Inn is a beautiful place to have a meal or a drink, the property is outstanding. There is a nice park a couple of blocks away and the street has little traffic and lots of pedestrian activity. There are also an abundance of bike routes from the house as Tucson is a mecca for cyclists. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are lots of hiking trails as close as 20 minutes from the house. We keep a Tucson hiking guide in the house for our guests. There is extraordinary rock climbing in the area as well. You can reach a golf course any direction you go - many world class. On the outskirts of town there are a lot of ranches that offer horseback riding tours, many that include lunch and or dinner. Any evening tour is bound to be sensational because Tucson has stunning sunsets almost every night. There is so much to do in this town......
