It was so amazing. We enjoyed every minute while we were there. The cabin felt like home. This is the first time going somewhere that we felt like it was home instead of a rental. Everything was perfect and we will be back with the rest of the family. The girls at check in recommended Cades Cove which we had never heard of. We are so thankful for all the great information they gave us when we checked in. I would recommend this place to all family and friends. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Thanks again for letting us stay in such a great place and cabin.

Love it!

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I go to the mountains every year in March, it's kinda tradition! We have stayed at Hitchin Post about 4 yrs straight. We always come back to this cabin because it is so awesome and perfect for just the 2 of us! The thing that we like most is the outside fireplace! We leave our robes toasting by the fire, get in the hot tub for a while and when we get out......warm robes!!! The view is great, very few neighbors and peacefully quite! We always go through Maples Ridge Cabin Rentals because those people Rock!!!! You will not regret your stay at Hitchin Post in the Great Smokies!

Wonderful Time

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Hitchin Post cabin and had a wonderful time, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Can't say enough how much my kids enjoyed their Christmas Vacation. Even had a chance to enjoy Timmy the Raccoon (as my kids named him). He decided to hang out with us one afternoon on the back deck up in the rafters! Definitely a vacation we will do again!

Great Time

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Hitching Post cabin. It had wonderful amenities and very clean and comfortable. I love Maples Ridge Cabin Rentals! The staff (Ms Patricia, Lori and Shay) all ROCK! They are wonderful ladies who will work wonders to the best of their abilities to make sure guest are pleased! Definitely will stay at the Hitching Post again.

Only thing to add is that two entry doors and patio door need blinds for privacy. It was a lil scary our first night! lol
