Minutes away from wineries, waterfalls, hiking, and the village of Naples, New York, Sunnyside Shore is the perfect place for your lakeside vacation. This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage sits on the quiet and pristine south end of Canandaigua Lake. Along with a sleeper sofa, this cottage sleeps 4 to 6 people comfortably. Just a quick boat ride down to the north end, Sunnyside Shore offers yards of level beach where you can launch boats; the walk-up entrance to the lake is also the ideal spot for kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, or fans of other water sports. If you’d rather stay on land, Sunnyside Shore has over 100 feet of frontage to soak up the sun or play some field games. A gas grill is available, and the kitchen is fully outfitted to help you cook your meals during your stay. And why not try to catch what you cook? Sunnyside Shore’s 20 foot dock is the perfect place to try your luck with Canandaigua’s trout, bass, and perch.
Sunnyside Shore’s interior is newly updated. Beautiful dark hardwood floors run throughout. All appliances are stainless steel. A stackable washer and drier are located off the kitchen. On the colder nights, you can curl up in front of the gas fireplace, or maybe rent a movie on the 60 inch TV. How about something in 3D? The 3D glasses are available to maximize your viewing experience. Or, if you’d rather watch something in bed, the master bedroom has a mounted 32 inch TV. In the morning, make a fresh cup of coffee in the Keurig, then go outside and enjoy the view of the mountains, valleys, and water from our Adirondack chairs. Spend your day hiking to waterfalls that are within walking distance, sampling from several nearby wineries, shopping in the quaint village of Naples, boating up to the bars and restaurants in Canandaigua, or simply sitting in the sun and watching the waves go by.
Whether you’re in town for a summer wine tour, a fishing vacation, a golf trip, or to hit the slopes at Bristol Mountain, Sunnyside Shore is the perfect location! It is available to rent year round to help you explore the heart of the Finger Lakes region!

Want for nothing... full accommodations
We couldn’t have found a more perfect way to enjoy our time on the lake for our anniversary. Sunnyside Shore looks like a home out of a magazine!! The owners were very friendly and accommodating making sure we had everything we want and need.
There’s something for everyone, whether it’s boating, fishing, biking, hiking, photography, wine tasting, antique hunting, or simply relaxing with a book by the fire :) we did it all without having to leave.
I can’t thank the owners enough for graciously opening their home to us for the week. We will definitely be back and let our friends and family know.

Amazing location, beautiful views, & a quaint cottage!
Everything is better on the sunny side! What a great place to relax and unwind and leave your cares behind as Brian & Lindsay got you covered!
All we needed to bring is our family & food and Brian & Lindsay supplied the rest for all of us to have fun, even our 2 four legged family members! You r surrounded by beautiful views inside and out! I loved every morning sitting at the table and looking out to the sun sparkling on the water! Our dogs enjoyed swimming and playing fetch and it seems that all the neighbors are people and dog friendly! When the sun goes down you can still enjoy the outside with a nice bonfire on the beach tell stories and look up at the stars! We had a couple of friendly minks that swam by to entertain us!
The cottage has been very well kept with nice updates, we felt like we were entering something on HGTV! Also I want to mention if you have a slight handicap you can get around very well as it is only a few steps in and everything is on one floor and then a few steps back out and you are enjoying the beautiful views and reading a book in the lounge chairs or if you want to enjoy the beach area it's only a few steps and your there nothing to finagle to find yourself being able to enjoy all that sunny side has to offer!
Thank you so much Brian & Lindsay for sharing such a special place with all of us! We can not wait to return next year!

Just What the Doctor Ordered
Recovering from a long illness , I now need time to heal. Sunnyside Shore filled that requirement. It is quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. For me it was a retreat from health worries , doctor appointments, and hospital stays. Whatever your reason for choosing Sunnyside Shore, I'm sure you will not be disappointed. Pat
We loved this place so much. It's perfect for our young family - most other Finger Lakes properties have sheer drops into the water but this has a gravel beach which made life much easier for our toddler.
All the amenities are beautiful - the appliances are really nice, the kitchen is really well stocked with tools/silverware/tupperware/dishes, etc., the shower is beautiful, the grill is really high-quality. I just couldn't say enough about it.
It also sits at the end of a dead-end road, which is not obvious at first glance. There is one neighbor house on the same little cul-de-sac, but the week we were there we almost never saw them (the neighbors own another house down the road and only use the place next door for recreation). There is no car traffic past the house.
The valley is lush and beautiful, with hiking, gorges, swimming, etc. all over the place. In the whole Finger Lakes region this is one of the most beautiful places.
In short, we were thrilled with our whole experience there and can't wait to go back.
Fabulous property! Nice and private.
The owner was very accommodating. He did his best to make us feel comfortable and at home. Whenever we needed something he responded instantly. Looking forward to making our stay here a yearly tradition!!
Perfect place for relaxing!
We stayed with our 3 kids and older dog. It was perfect for us with plenty of level water access. The house itself is small but completely updated and has all the modern amenities you need. We brought two small cots for our kids and Set them up in the bedroom and it worked great. It's on the end of a private drive so our dog spent the entire day outside. Kayaking at the south end is beautiful. While private there is still plenty to do, we visited grimes glen, Cummings nature center, roseland water park, wineries, other hiking trails and stores all within a 20min drive. Owner was very responsive to a few little things that came up. We look forward to coming back!
