Colorado Springs House Rental Photos and Description

Three bedroom, 2.5 bath, in a nice neighborhood close to restaurants & shopping

We are currently taking reservations for our remaining open dates this winter, Dec - Feb! Colorado Springs is a great place to visit in the winter too.

Our home is a 2-story, 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath property with an open floor plan on the first level that includes the living room, dining room and kitchen in one space.

There is a large, 48' flat-screen TV in the living room and the house is supplied with satellite TV and Wi-fi. We have central air conditioning, which many Colorado Springs properties do not have because of the temperate weather. But it's nice to have it when you need it. (The house also has central heat.)

The kitchen has every amenity we hope you will need. It has been furnished with three sets of dishes (colored, white and picnic), glasses and goblets, two sets of silverware (casual and dressy), a coffeemaker, four-slice toaster, blender and much more.

The dining room table seats six, but there are two additional dining chairs located in the living room and three stools at the breakfast bar. Tablecloths are in the front entry closet. A high chair and pack 'n play are available on request.

Also on the first level is a half-bath and laundry room with washer and dryer. The leather hide-a-bed couch in the living room folds out to a double bed.

Attached to the first level is a two-car garage that has been set up as a game room with ping-pong table, 2 Foosball tables, card table and chairs. The garage/game room adds additional square footage to the 1350 square foot house.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom, which has a 32' flat-screen television, has a queen bed and small attached bathroom with a combination shower/tub. A second bathroom with a combination shower/tub is located off the landing. Two additional bedrooms complete the upstairs. One of those bedrooms has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two twin beds. Each bedroom has drawer storage and closet space with hangers for your clothes. All three bedrooms have been furnished with new, high quality mattresses and linens. New, high quality towels are in the bathrooms and in a closet on the upstairs landing.

Outside on the front porch there is a porch swing. There is a small flagstone patio with an iron table and two chairs near the porch. In the backyard there is a bbq grill and chair, rustic picnic table and benches. On a sunken concrete patio at the back of the xeriscaped yard there are two iron chairs for comfy reading or relaxing.

There is parking for two cars on the driveway and possibly one to two cars on the street in front of the house.

Across the street is a small grassy park with a picnic table.

Pikes Peak can be seen from the house (filtered views), especially from the top floor.

We are located on the east side of the Springs, about 3 miles east of Powers Boulevard near the intersection of Highway 24 and Constitution.

We are about three miles from all the restaurants and shopping you could need. And, according to Mapquest we are the following distances and times from major attractions (times may vary based on traffic): 9 miles/13 mins to the Olympic Training Center; 10 miles/15 mins to downtown; 13 miles/20 mins to Focus on the Family; 16 miles/22 mins to The Broadmoor; 16 miles/22 mins to Old Colorado City; 15 miles/26 mins to Garden of the Gods; 19 miles/26 mins to Manitou Springs; 18 miles/27 mins to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo; 21 miles/29 mins to the Air Force Academy; 23 miles/31 mins to Cascade where the highway to the top of Pikes Peak begins.

About Bev & Ron Bynum

We are a pastor and former journalist (who has more recently been a caregiver to her parents for several years.) Ron grew up in St. Louis and Bev grew up in Southern California. We both lived in the Kansas City area for many years, but knew we had found our longtime home when we moved to beautiful, sunny Colorado Springs. We love to travel and we have rented many homes through vrbo. We know how nice it can be to come back each night to a comfy, nicely-appointed house while on vacation.

Bev & Ron Bynum purchased this house in 2005

Why Bev & Ron Bynum chose South Central

It is so much nicer and homier than a hotel room!

Loved Ron and Bev's house it was in a wonderful neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and was clean and well equipped. We will definitely consider staying with them again when we go back to Colorado in the spring to spend more time with our daughter and grandkids.

Wonderful Home

  • 5 of 5

Our family very much enjoyed staying in this well-stocked home for the 5 days we were in Colorado Springs! The owners are very nice people and were very prompt with replying to inquiries. They seem to have thought of everything a traveler would need to feel at home in a vacation rental. Plenty of towels, dishware, glassware, silverware, pots & pans and even coffee and laundry detergent! The garage is stocked with board games, a ping-pong table, and foosball tables. We loved everything about this home including the decor and even color choices. We will be traveling back to the area and hope this awesome home is available on our next visit! Thank you Ron and Bev for all the care you have taken to make sure your renters have a great experience!

Have enjoyed this lovely home multiple times! Clean, comfy, tasteful, and has everything you need!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed in this wonderful Colorado Springs rental home every summer for 3 years, sharing the house with other families to attend an event at the Olympic Training Center Velodrome downtown. Our stay is almost 2 weeks, and we've been delighted every time with the comfort, convenience, cleanliness and tasteful décor of our home away from home. The owners are lovely folks, very helpful and responsive. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood near shopping and restaurants as well as the many beautiful sights in the area. Highly recommend to all!

Great Place to Stay in Colorado Springs

  • 5 of 5

This house worked out great for our family. There was plenty of room for 5 adults. The home had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The location of the house was really good for us. It was close to the family we were in Colorado Springs visiting. It's access to the main thoroughfares made it convenient to get around town easily. We definitely enjoyed this home and would recommend it to others.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our family spent a little over a week and enjoyed our stay. The house was very, very clean, and very well maintained. The house was easy to locate and accessible to main roads which made it easy to get around and spend more time sightseeing. This would definitely come back and stay here again.

Comfy, clean and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We live in a very small town in Illinois and we go out to Colorado Springs every year to see our son on parent's weekend for the AFA. This was the first time we have ever stayed at a house instead of a hotel, and we picked the perfect home for our first experience! We were all so impressed with the coziness of the house. They had everything well stocked. The best part about the home was that we all sat at the table together to eat meals. We cooked on the grill and everyone would come out just to be together and visit. The neighborhood was quiet and secure. We have already decided that we would do this again instead of a noisy hotel. Thanks Bev and Ron.
