About Louise Senneff

Stu and Louise Senneff. Stu grew up in south Florida and Louise in west Texas, but we now live in southwest Florida.

Louise Senneff purchased this house in 1995

Why Louise Senneff chose Lake Chatuge

Stu's parents built this house and we inherited it. Our family has spent many happy times here before and since, and we love the mountains and the lake. We want to keep the house for our family to continue to build more memories and to share this great place with others.

What makes this house unique

Truly, the lake and the mountains, whatever time of year you come, will call you back. Sit out in the screen room, or dangle your legs over the dock, or shuffle your feet through the bright autumn leaves walking in the fog, or snuggle up next to the fire and watch the snow won't matter, you will be taken by the beauty and the peace and the history of this place, by the fun times you will have while you are here and by the desire to return for more.

Nice house right on the lake. The house had everything we needed. Big yard with fantastic views of the lake and the mountains.

We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Thank you!

The property was in a quiet area yet very close to town. The grounds were beautiful and the back yard was very flat and an easy walk to the dock. The house was large and we had plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying there again.

Thank you Louise!

Perfect in almost every way

  • 5 of 5

The search is over. We've found our favorite lake house.

Dogwood Hill is clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and there are so many fun games for the kids to play.

The house has one of the best views on the lake and the deck and screened in porch are amazing.

You can tell the owners really thought through how renters would use the house.

The only downside about the house is that the 2 upstairs bedrooms have lovely views, but the basement bedroom doesn't have any windows.

Other than that, I couldn't come up with anything negative to say about the house. We will be back!

Very enjoyable and memorable stay

  • 5 of 5

Lovely home on a beautiful spot on the lake. Lots outdoor space. Our family enjoyed sunsets by the firepit, with our guitars, while the children chased fireflies. And it's just a short drive, or even a walk into town. Owner and contact person dealt with minor issue immediately.

2nd Time at this home. Great time.

  • 5 of 5

Our favorite part of this house is the large screened in porch. It rained several days and we sat on the porch and played cards. Great place for the family to gather.

House was clean. Love the easy walk to the lake. Owner is very nice and accommodating.

Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Just spent a week at this great property! Older home, but has everything a family needs; for the cook, the kids and the parents! Wonderful view, huge property. There were 10 of us including small baby and there was plenty of space. You could find peace and quiet or join the horseshoe game, or badminton or any of the other games or just spend time on the dock. Loved the enclosed screen porch that looked over the lawn and lake. We enjoyed seeing the geese and all of their babies. Great time, owners were very easy to work with, we will be back!
