Our home is situated on a quiet cove on Maine’s Lake Arrowhead. The only “official trophy bass lake” in Maine. Lake Arrowhead is 1100 acres and is known for its exceptional water quality making it perfect for swimming, fishing and boating. The expansive coves, islands, and finger inlets make for great exploring and paddling. It’s the perfect place for the kids to play and adults to relax (or vice versa, depending on the weekend). Tie your personal boat or watercraft to our private dock or take the canoe, paddleboat, or sailboats out on the lake – all provided for your enjoyment. Then gather around the fire-pit, kick back in the hammock, and roast hotdogs, marshmallows or your fresh daily catch from the lake!!!
Our home is newly painted with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, dresser and television. Conveniently, the master bedroom and full bath are located on the first floor. Two additional bedrooms are located on the second floor along with a half bath. One bedroom is equipped with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed; both bedrooms have dressers. To comfortably accommodate all of our guests, there is a new pull-out queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
The kitchen is fully stocked for all of your needs and the beds will be made up with fresh linens so you can comfortably snuggle in for a restful sleep after a memorable day on the lake!

This is the perfect lake house rental. Nothing here to complain about. House is just as described. Thank you again!
We had a great week swimming, kayaking, and fishing on lake arrowhead. This was the perfect location for us with 3 young children. The sandy walk in beach area was great for the young kids and our dog to get into the lake. We used the fire pit often and enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake while our children took naps. The little island across from the house was a good place to boat to to check for fish and turtles with the kids. Just a few issues we had that in no way took away from the trip but could use some looking into. We only received 4 towels when we booked for 5 people and the house accommodates 6-8 I think. We had extra beach towels for kids so we made due. The hot water did not last for 2 adults if you want warm showers. My second child actually got stuck with freezing cold water with conditionder in her hair. I had to get some hot water from a pot on the stove top to finish her shower. After the first day we started to stagger the showers to ensure enough hot water. Not ideal but most days we stayed around the house so we could make it work. There were a lot of small knats or drain flies in the shower area and the downstairs bedroom.
We had such a nice relaxing week at the lake. The kayaks were put to good use everyday and the firepit was a great way to end the day. We have 3 children and this house had a great sandy walk in for them and our dog. You can see and hear the neighbors but overall it's a very quiet neighborhood. Only an occasional loud boat or jet skiers would swing into the inlet off the lake. This house had numerous fans available which was needed towards the end of the hotter days. We had some georgeous weather and there was always a nice breeze off the lake. Only issues we had - only provided with 4 towels (we booked for 5 people but house accommodates more), also the hot water ran out before I could finish getting my 2 children washed. I had to use boiled water off the stove mixed with cold water to finish off my second child. You would never be able to have 6 people shower in the morning unless you like cold showers. After that first morning we staggered the kids for showers, not ideal but it worked. Also there was a lot of small bugs (maybe knats or drain flies) in the downstairs bedroom and shower area. Not sure if this is a common occurance in this area. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to family with kids who want to stay and play at a lake.
We spent a week at this cottage, and it was so nice and relaxing and peaceful !! The house was really nice, and the owners-Robert and Heather, were more than accommodating, and very helpful if anything was needed. The water is clean and the week we were there it was so warm!! We brought our dog Blaze..who had a blast in the water and just lounging in the shade!! The boats, canoes, and kayaks that are available for the renters to use were also fun to go out adventuring in the water....we would definitely return to this awesome house !! I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice quiet week away!!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your cottage!!
This was our first visit to Maine and I didn't want to leave!!! The house was perfect, quiet and cozy! Being from Maryland, we were Alittle concerned at first about no air conditioning in the house, but we quickly learned better and got over that! The outside area of the house was of course our favorite part. What a beautiful view! The lake was fantastic and we made good use of the kayaks and canoe! Thank you so much for renting to us! We had a great time!!!
From the moment we arrived we took a deep breath and felt the clean, crisp Maine air sweep away all of our work-a-day worries. The house was appointed so well that we felt right at home the minute we opened the door. From the comfy, plush couch to the crisp, clean sheets on the beds you will feel like you are in a five star resort. The former reviews stated that the pictures don't do this home justice and they were right on the money!! The kitchen is very well stocked with any possible utensil and cookware item you may need, and the rooms are very large to accommodate your whole family.
We fished every day and caught quite a few fish. The water in the lake is crystal clear and so refreshing. We used the paddle boat but didn't have the chance to use the others, unfortunately, but sure did enjoy being out on the water.
We took side trips to Old Orchard Beach and Kennebunkport and both were so charming and filled with New England novelties. So welcoming and a great afternoon to stroll through each one.
By far this vacation was so peaceful, relaxing, refreshing and invigorating a time my husband and I have ever had!
We would go back every chance we got!!!
Thank you Heather and Robert for sharing this little slice of heaven!!!
