About the property

Royal Palm Suite is on the bottom floor of the home. It has it's own private entry with a Queen bed, a Sleeper couch that makes into a queen bed, Cable tv, wifi, full bathroom, closet, kitchenette area. Full size refrig.,microwave, toaster oven, induction cook top and coffee maker and grinder to brew the famous Kona coffee. There is coin operated washer & dryer in a common room. Outside has a gazebo, table, chairs and a bbq for those who like to grill. There is plenty of off street parking behind the home. The home is situated so that you get the ocean breezes and can hear the waves crashing on the shoreline when the surf is up. We are between Magic Sands Beach and Snorkel Beach (Kahalu'u beach) and both are within walking distance if you just want to hang out at local Beaches. We are also only one mile from Keauhou Center which has a Grocery store, Restaurants, Post office, Theater, Medical facility's, and a farmers market on Saturday mornings, even has music and dance performances on some weekends. You have the beach front town of Kona 5 minutes down Alii Dr. in the other direction which has lots of shops to browse through, restaurants and locations to sign up for activities such as a luau, tours, snorkeling trips, surf lessons, submarine rides, Charters for Big Game fishing and much more, all of this is along the ocean front.

There is two transit systems that run by on Alii dr. making them very accessible. Kona has the most beautiful sunsets, you will see the locals and tourists parked along side of the roads to watch for the green flash as the sun goes over the horizon.

Megan and I were very fortunate to have grown up on the Southern California beaches but with the stress's that came with development we looked and made a move to Kona where the lifestyle was more like the early days of California. We now have a place where we can accommodate others to come and enjoy what we have found to be paradise.

Nice cozy room

It’s a nice cozy room. I enjoyed my vacation in Kona with stay here.

David and chickens are welcomed me. Wave sounds makes me well sleep.

The place is easy to get beaches and Kailua-Kona town both.

I would highly recommend.

Comfortable

Great proximity to Ali'i road. Room/suite is in a house with other suites and very comfortable and quiet. No full size kitchen but there is a hot plate, microwave and a coffee pot. Owner was near by and very helpful. I would recommend it to a couple or a solo traveler. Also, the owner met me when I arrived and helped me with my luggage. Very nice, very accommodating, very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Clean, no-frills, comfortable studio - very pleased!

This cozy studio was the perfect place to kick-off our Hawaii vacation. We loved the screened, floor to ceiling windows - we felt like we were waking up in a treehouse. The owner was helpful and friendly and the location was great. The kitchen had everything we needed and the apartment was very clean and comfortable. We would love to stay here again!

Great location, excellent property and experience

Check-in was very easy! Location is really great. The space looks even bigger in person. It has everything you need and is quiet and comfortable. The Internet is very fast which was great for me since I work while traveling. Couldn't ask for a better experience! The host is very nice also. If this property is available, you should book it if you're looking for a nice experience in Kona.
