The location is fantastic for walking to restaurants and shops and the farmers market within minutes. The downside is quite a few homeless in the area. Our biggest issue came from the bed, it was missing a piece making it unstable. The worst part was the mattress, if you like sleeping on a hard as a rock surface, this is for you. We asked the property manager about both issues and she brought a thin cover for the mattress. She was very apologetic and said if we needed the mattress topper she had one to bring. We did request it after our second night of terrible sleep and she did not reply. We asked for more towels, they only provided two for our four nights, there was no reply. We did get two beach towels as requested, it would be nice if they just provided them to begin with and same for extra towels. We did appreciate the snorkel gear and left some fun noodles for the next guests. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay but we wouldn’t stay again at this particular condo.

Die Lage und die Sauberkeit war super, leider ist es nicht zu 100% das Appartement wie auf den abgebildeten Fotos! Check in war super und auch ein Auto darf kostenfrei geparkt werden! Wohnung ist voll ausgesattet. Lediglich der Kühlschrank ist sehr laut und steht unmittelbar neben dem Bett. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Great Location!

Well-appointed unit in the Kona Islander Inn. Close to beaches, shopping, restaurants. Complex has a nice swimming pool and BBQ area. The unit was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for an awesome stay!

Great location & clean

We stayed here for 8 days the location is great and the unit was very clean. An excellent place for the cost. The negatives are its a 3rd floor walk up so if you have arthritis in your knees it would have been nice to know. And the big issue for us that made us leave and pay for another hotel our last 2 days was the mattress, it is VERY firm like sleeping on a concrete slap, worst mattress I've ever laid on. If you like an extra firm bed this place is excellent.

Wonderful location in Kona

Nice location near restaurants, shops and the ocean. Perfect size for a couple and beautiful grounds.

Wrong unit but still lovely!

We did not receive the unit that was advertised, but it was still ocean front and we were only staying for one night so it was fine for us. Great location, I’d definitely stay here again!

Great place great location!

This place was great! Clean, fast internet, hotel employees were really nice and close to beach, nightlife, sightseeing tour meeting spots. Parking lot fills up so finding a spot can be tricky at night. Would definitely book again!

Nice but....

Overall, the rental is decent. Small but decent. Overall, it was clean. Where the tile touched the floor in the bathroom and shower was pretty icky. Check in was easy ONCE we located the correct building. The GPS took us to the condos nextdoor. Luckily, the landlord and a nice resident figured all this out for us! The host is very responsive and helpful! confusion

Owner Was Not Accomodating

Contracted COVID the week before staying. Two airlines one hotel, two VRBOs, restaurants, and excursions all rescheduled without hesitation. This owner refused to discuss any options

I basically donated to their cause - i would not recommend

Originally, I was happy to book with them as the manager seemed kind and helpful before I booked. But within a few hours of booking I realized my partner and I had double booked rooms by accident. we needed this room for 1 night , instead of 3 nights. I immediately contacted the host to help me adjust this as it was within just a few hour of speaking with her and booking. I was not looking to cancel the full trip but adjust to 1 night. Long story short - I had to jump through hoops instead of being helped like a human. I work too many jobs and their one job is to hospitality. This review is not toward the manager's attitude toward me, as they kindly and gleefully offered no real help - so i guess this review goes to the owner of the property. You make money on guests. plain, simple. have compassion. They will say the offered suggestions, but in the end there was nothing i could do and basically this was a donation to a vacation rental - and they knew that.

Clean and renovated. Bed was like sleeping on a box spring and walls paper thin. Listened to a woman in the neighboring apartment yelling from 2:00 am to 5:30 am.
