Just 20 Minutes to Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge you are just a short ride away from all the attractions. That is if you get bored of playing pool, Foosball and air hockey while gathering with your friends and family.

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and relaxation during our stay here. The beds are pretty hard, so come prepared for that if you are not used to sleeping on a harder mattress.

Quick getaway with family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First I thought we were kind of far from everything but once I got a lay of the land it doesnā€™t seem far at all. The only real issue we had was we had to wait to check in a little longer than expected and a maintenance man was still there an hour and a half after we were originally supposed to check in. Then once we got settled we wanted to get in the jacuzzi but it wasnā€™t working properly. Maintenance did respond and fix the issue quickly. After that we really had no complaints. We had enough space, it was nice and cool. We had a good view of the mountains. It was an overall great experience.

The cabin is listed to house 30 plus people but there is very little comfortable seating on any of the levels for more than 3 or 4 people at one time. We took a family of 14 and we not able to be together except at the table while eating. The cabin beside played VERY LOUD music starting early morning until very late at night. This made our stay not very peaceful, but also was not the responsibility of our cabin company or owners. Overall, I would recommend this cabin and use it again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house as we were hosting 20+ family members for our wedding in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The house is 3 stories, and really is a great setup to accommodate big groups!There's a pool table & foosball table on the top floor (that was where the younger folks slept so they could play pool all night)A big projector screen on the middle floor (some of the older crowd enjoyed watching movies and TV on the projector and they were away from the noisy pool table, but also had a foosball table on the middle floor to use).And then the lower level had the kitchen and that was where the remainder of the older crowd slept as it was the furthest from the pool table. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, the hot tub was BIG, and the house was really great overall. The dining table on the lower level is HUGE and accommodated everyone in our group. Washer & Dryer was a nice touch as well!All 3 levels had huge decks, and the view from the top level is AMAZING... seriously, AMAZING.Our only complaint would be the house needs a bit more furniture... just armchairs, or additional couches, as well as nightstands or end tables. The second floor has just one couch, which makes watching TV a bit of a bummer if more than 2-3 people want to watch something.The property was only about 17 minutes to Gatlinburg, 17 minutes to Pigeon Forge, and about 20 minutes to Sevierville. Great central location! The road up to the house is a little daunting for people who have never been on Tennessee mountain roads, but nobody made any errors in our group. It is a bit steep and has a couple turns that would definitely be a challenge in wet or icy conditions, but fortunately the weather was decent enough during our stay.If we ever had another big group gathering again, I would definitely lean toward booking this cabin. It really was an awesome experience.

Horrible Night's Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had NO heat at all. Called to report they sent someone out he told us it would be an hour before we felt a difference and have heat but to no avail we still had no heat. Called back but noone came back out to fix the unit. We stayed the night in a cold cabin with tempatures outside in the single digit. They moved us to a differen cabin the next day but our family couldn't enjoy our stay or even take showers and relax because it was so cold. The cabin itself was nice, lots of space, and was very clean. But the heating situation was horrible. ElksSprings refunded a few dollars and I do mean a few dollars for the inconvience of us freezing all night(there were 11 of us and after the refund was split up we all received $15) so yeah we were refunded a few dollars as to where I feel we should have been offered a free night's stay or at least half of the night's stay refunded. Even tho the cabin was nice I would not stay here again in the winter season.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this was a nice cabin for our large family. The drive to get up to the cabin isnā€™t horrible, but probably isnā€™t for the faint of heart. It was off the beaten path, but pretty central to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. It takes about a half hour to get anywhere, just because of how slow you have to drive on some of the roads. The only thing I could really complain about is that the mattresses are rock hard. Thatā€™s a big deterrent for my family and I, and we likely wonā€™t stay at big bear lodge again, because of this.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During our stay, we experienced some difficulties with the heating and water. After two technicians came out, we were told that one of the units were frozen and this is why we did not have hot water or heat. We were in the cabin for about 16hrs with little to no heat or hot water. On Friday, around 10am it was fixed. However, Friday night around 12am, the cabin dropped back down to below 60 when it was below 40 outside. Due to the inconsistency of the temperature, my youngest child is now sick. Otherwise from the heating and hot water issue, we enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean, in a central location, and the staff was eager and willing to help us during our stay.

Reviewer Comments: This cabin is in a wonderful location, has a great view and is very pretty itself.The management company makes things easy and are very responsive to the customer before and during the stay.However, the cabin has some short comings.While it is listed as sleeping 32, while it is true you could sleep 32, the amenities of the cabin would not support it. The hot water heater was too small for my group of 12, so much that we thought the heater might had broken. Maintenance came out promptly to have a look, and let us know it was working but was nowhere near large enough and would get a note in to the owners to upgrade it (good luck future groups!).The other issue we had was a lack of seating on floors 2 and 3. It would be good to add in a few extra chairs.

It lived up to it's name! Bears appeared as we were leaving.

Reviewer Comments: As we were loading our cars to leave, two bears decided to visit our trash cans, circle the house, and one groomed itself as we watched from the decks.Overall, we were happy with our stay, but if you are going to advertise that you can sleep 32, then you need to stock the kitchen accordingly. More silverware is needed. So are more, larger serving dishes and a decent can opener. We used a pocket knife! Also, I had 3 lukewarm showers and one warm shower. The water heaters need help.Be aware that the "main" level is NOT the ground level. If you need 3 bedrooms on the entry level, go somewhere else. What the website describes as the lower level is the entry level, main is the 2nd floor, and upper is the 3rd floor.The drive up to the cabin was a bit scary. Serious drop offs at the edge of a single lane road.With all that said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and particularly liked that the dining area and the living area were connected.

Okay, but needs attention

Our biggest complaint was the mice! Mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers and on our first night, we watched one run across the kitchen counter. There was also what looked like a critter nest in the corner of one of the staircases. Ended up having to figure out where to store food so as not to wake up with mice having feasted. Called property management and they sent someone the next day, but the mice issue wasn't going to get addressed same day. There isn't nearly enough seating for the number of guests this property can accommodate, which made the 2 main dining tables the only area to sit and congregate. All the other common areas had seating arrangements for 3 people max. Could have used a couple more couches on each floor! Windows were old and falling apart, no screens so couldn't open the windows. Some broken/missing window treatments, made privacy interesting on the first floor bedroom facing the balcony. Hot tub looked questionable and we didn't even both attempting. Plenty of towels and linens. Beds were relatively comfortable. Location was decent, although the road getting to the house was very narrow with switchbacks. I would avoid it when dark or with snow.

Big Bear, its beautifully luscious chestnut wood covered only partly by the tree of epic collaborated proportion. Each bear's lair is adorned with such majestic beauty fit for the type of experience awaiting pleasure full and manner full enjoyment. Thank you for the views built especially with someone like us in mind. That's the experience. That's the bare necessity for a weekend well-curated. We appreciate the 15% off future stays and more importantly, hope to get the chance to welcome us back into your home no matter the season. Would have had plenty of room for the 32. The cabin was great looking. Had plenty of room on the inside. Had plenty of stuff for the kids to play around with. Everything was clean. The staff was very helpful. We just very much like to thank the ones that are in charge of this because they made our stay great.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I almost feel like this is a continuation of wasting my time, but here we go again almost a month later. Quite literally the 20th attempt to get through to someone of how awful our first nights stay was and complete lack of guest service. We were told that check in was 3 and a slight delay because of weather. The cleaning crew never arrived after waiting until 5:30 our group of 29 was told to go have a nice dinner and get a hotel room at our expense. At the low end that would have been over $2,000 during Christmas time! After already paying in full the $5,090. You left no helpful options. Completely left 29 guests from 3 states out in the cold. We then suggested that we just clean it ourselves because this was a family reunion and we didn't want to be separated trying to make other accommodations. Not to mention all of the food that was purchased would go to waste. We spent all evening after being delayed to enter the cabin to clean. The roads were accessible as all of our party and neighbors were driving around. After staying up past 12 PM doing laundry we continued this into the next day. All the while trying to communicate with your office to rectify our frustration and huge inconvenience. Again the cleaning fee refund is not sufficient compensation! Your staff is rude and incompetent. Which made the experience even worse. Hanging up on guests when trying to resolve these matters and not responding to texts or messages is completely unprofessional! Again we are asking for a full refund of our first nights stay. Just the cleaning fee is ridiculous! We will never stay with E.S.R again and will make it known to everyone and anyone to not use your cabins. I'm sure this review will be disregarded along with the over 20 other calls, texts and messages too though.

A freezing Christmas stay

Beautiful, ,love all the wood , and the layout..Not enough seating.The wall hanging, and decorations are dated and faded and need to be replaced.No emergency heat , and the cabin stayed cold.

Ladies Mountain Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked the cabin for a ladies weekend retreat. Location was about 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes from Gatlinburg. The cabin was clean but needs more furniture. We enjoyed the hot tub and the mountain scenery.
