Bear Pond Cottage stay 9/20-24/17
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is one of the coziest cottages that we have ever rented. It comes complete with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We rented the linens so we wouldn't have to lug them from our home in Texas and they were of excellent quality and there were plenty of them. The lake is clear and shallow and great for kids. The kayaks provided were an extra bonus. We highly recommend this cottage!
It was very nice and everything it said it was!
Everything was very nice and it came fully equipped with everything!
We had a wonderful time at this camp.It was neat and very well stocked. The kids had a great time in the water. Hope to come back.

This was my 2nd year renting this camp. I love it. It is spacious, beautifully decorated, and has everything you need. It is the only week of the year when all my kids and grandkids are together. Some stay at another camp just down the pond a little way. We love swimming and kayaking. All the men and boys really had fun fishing this year, and caught many large bass. Two of the grandsons caught their first fish, which was a thrill for them. We had fun watching loons with a baby every day, and a heron landed on the float out front several mornings and stayed for quite awhile, while we sat outside enjoying our morning coffee. I will definitely go back again. Wouldn't mind spending the whole summer.
Love Bear Pond cottage
We have stayed here before and we love the place. We will definitely be back. I hope the mother trout has hatched her eggs by now - it was very interesting to watch her protect her eggs.
We visited relatives nearby and they came to visit us at the pond too. We took a trip to the Wildlife Park and the Shaker Village on Route 26. We took the long way around and it was a very scenic drive. Also, we visited Freeport and Boothbay Harbor. The biggest bonus - the weather was very agreeable.
We highly recommend this location for anyone seeking some quality time with family.
