I'm a Denver native but after living other places am now loving living back in Denver. Just recently purchased the unit in Vail and love spending time up there. Colorado is the best and I'm never leaving!
Bret Defnet purchased this condo in 2013
One of the best locations in Vail between lionshead and West Vail. The West Vail and Sandstone bus comes by regularly. Why pay more for a smaller unit just 15 minutes away!
Great end unit condo. It had everything we needed and was clean when we arrived. From looking at a map, it looks like it is further than it actually is from Vail Village. Some of us walked in. There's also a bus stop right by the complex if you don't want to walk or drive. Bret was quick to respond to our inquiries, friendly, and easy to work with.
We recently stayed at Bret's 3 bedroom loft for 5 nights over Thanksgiving. It is in a great location, a 15 minute walk into Lionshead, and right on the bus route. With grocery stores, and places to eat just down the street. It was clean, and nicely updated, and had all the amenities we needed for a family of 4. There was plenty of sleeping space with comfortable beds. And the kitchens and bathrooms were well equipped. The wood burning fireplace was an excellent feature you don't find in all Vail condos. The top floor location made it quiet, and the HOA was great about clearing the fresh powder on the stairs and walkways. The best part was our 5th child, our dog, could be there for Thanksgiving as well. Bret was a pleasure and easy to work with. All in all we had a great stay, and will happily return soon.
A very nice house just on the other side of I-70 from Vail; very close to town center and trail access. The house was clean, well provisioned, and the instructions from the owner were very clear and helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here!
We had a wonderful experience here. It's the first time we've been able to stay at a condo that's walking distance from Vail, which was very enjoyable. The unit is roomy, cozy, and in excellent condition. You'll need to be comfortable navigating stairs (which for us just meant keeping an eye on our one-year-old); there's a steep staircase to the master suite (which is lots of fun, actually), and a stairway to the unit itself. Most people won't be as braindead as we were when we arrived, but so that others don't make the mistakes we did: 1. The parking spot is across the entryway from the building (i.e., when you park in your spot, your building is the one behind you, not the one in front of you); 2. Use the keypad on the door, not the lockbox on the wall by the door (this was spelled out in the instructions, but we still missed it...).
Thanks to Bret for a great stay in a great location!
Really nice condo with plenty of room for 6. Modern updates and convenient location to Lionshead and Vail village (short drive) or walk. Bus stop about 100 yards.
There was plenty of room for our family when we were out most the day. It was cozy. In a residential condo unit. No pool but went to the public pool in Eagle Vail $7.00 a day for under 12. I didn't have to pay to be under the shaded area watching them.
Deck was nice and shaded were we had our coffee each morning. Wager and dryer worked great! We had a couple of issues but Bret was awesome to communicate with and was able to resolve them with a great attitude. Location to Vail Villiage was perfect to drop and pick up kids. 5 min at most.
Thanks Bret for being such a great owner!
Great location close to lionshead and West Vail for all grocery needs. Close to great hiking trails too.
