The cottage is lovely and spotlessly clean. It’s very homely and has everything you need for your stay. The kitchen was well equipped but we only had breakfast there as there are some lovely places nearby to eat out. There is a pub down the road and a Co op also nearby. The garden was loved and enjoyed by us and our two dogs.

The Cottage was much bigger than we expected, the garden was great for our dog to run around in. everything you need is the village, shop. restaurant, pubs & a couple of fish shops. friendly locals, overall this place a great base for exploring the east coast, overall we had a brilliant stay in this cottage, we are hoping to return again sometime.

The property though cozy n had everything mostly u needed. It had a good garden for dogs. It had a lot wrong. The beds felt like concrete, and due to this we were in agony n got no sleep at all. I ended up been in so much pain and unable to function due to no sleep, that we came home early.On top of this, the stairs are a deathtrap, there is no landing into bedrooms, you get up by using grab handles, not rails, and even these are not well placed.The floors are all unbalanced.The property was very cold n we were freezing , even tho it was warm outside.There was no information pack to help you know how to safely use anything.The property is full of damp everywhere, which the owner tries to dusguise by putting air fresheners everywhere.The washer dryer was in a dirty cobwebbed outhouse n not where u want to clean ur clothes.The tv was in a nook, and the main comfy sofa , you could not propetly see the tv, and there was no way you could move tv to watch it.I do feel that the property description was wrong.The owner has a lot to do to make the property as described.My break was ruined.

There is an information pack, of course there is! There is an electric heater in every room, a gas fire in the lounge a log burning stove in the snug/kitchen so no reason at all to be freezing cold as you said you were. The heaters are simple to use, you could of phoned me if you had a problem. The beds have medium firmness mattresses they are not like concrete, guests have commented how comfortable they are. I don't understand your comments. The cottage doesn't have damp everywhere, it's 300 or so years old. The details state it's not suitable for anyone with mobility problems and that it has a steep staircase and step upto kitchen and bathroom. There are other armchairs to sit in to view the television you don't have to sit where you can't see it, or the sofa isn't so heavy it can't be moved. I'm sorry you booked somewhere unsuitable for your needs. The last few reviews have been 10/10 and 8/10. But glad to know your dog enjoyed the garden.

Brilliant stay!

Had a lovely stay - enjoyed walking to all the beaches along the cliff path. Great location for bird watching at Bempton cliffs. I don’t have a garden at home so it was a real treat for me and my dog loved it! Thanks for a great break!

Wonderful week in Flamborough.the cottage is perfectly located in the quaint village with the added bonus of off street parking.Inside everything possible was provided for our stay and all rooms quaint and comfortable.For us the beautiful, secure private large garden was great for us to sit outside with our dogs and relax. The Seabirds Inn across the road I highly recommend.Best holiday this year. Thank you.
