Perfect cabin to celebrate our anniversary

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cabin. Very clean & extremely comfortable. We've rented in Truckee many times but never so close to downtown. It was nice to be a quick walk to restaurants and shopping. While it's close to town and the train it was very quiet. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Perfect for a couples getaway. Fantastic location, walking distance to downtown.

Highly recommended. This little cabin had everything we needed! You can tell that the owner took great care in designing the space and decor. The house is well equipped with all the necessities and the layout feels spacious. The owner considers pets so we were able to bring our pup. We were glad that we brought our gate as there is no fence dividing the backyard to the front. Only slightly disappointing was the condition of the outside, front and back. There was a fair amount of broken glass as well as dog poo. Both possibly due to the property being a rental and accessible.

That being said this was not deterrent and we will definitely be back!

Great place for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

I recently stayed in the cabin with my husband, our 4 year old and our small dog. It was the perfect place for us to spend on our vacation. Although the cabin is small, it never felt that way at all. The cabin is beautifully designed with high quality amenities. We used the sofa bed and it was actually pretty comfortable (unlike other sofa beds I have slept on). The full kitchen, washer and dryer were so convenient for traveling with kids and pets. As excited as I was to try local restaurants, once I saw the kitchen I kind of wanted to stay home and cook. We really enjoyed the back yard and the fire pit. The drive to Donner and Tahoe were not bad at all and we had a blast there. Would love to experience the cabin again in the snow….I really appreciate that I contacted Mitch with a minor question about the fireplace and he got back to me in minutes.
