Hosts very welcoming and accommodating, not that there was anything left wanting !House and amenities complete and wholly up to par, never needed anythingEverything was clean and wholesome in near perfect operating condition
Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Amenities were good. More soap in bathrooms would have been nice. Accurate description of property. Everything worked. Owner checked in with us during stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Tracey's cottage and found that it had everything we needed. It is a straightforward 15-minute drive to the Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, which made it perfect for our trip. The cottage is also walkable to restaurants in the center of Folkston. Tracey communicated check in and check out procedures clearly. We found this to be a good base from which to explore the swamp.
Tracey is a great host! This is the 3rd year we stayed at one of her homes in Folkston and the 2nd time at this location. She is super accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Location is perfect for train enthusiasts. One block from the viewing platform. Thank you for a great stay! Will be back!
This is my family's go to place to stay in Folkston! It's a great location and Tracey is so easy to communicate with. If you are staying in the area, I absolutely recommend this place!!!
Quick trip to attend a family wedding and it was like staying at my grandmothers house. Had everything we needed and very comfortable. Downtown is two blocks and has very nice places to eat. Thank you for the hospitality!
We needed a homebase for our stay i. Yhe area while visiting family. It is an older house, not a luxury resort and is pricred as such. House was stocked with necessities. It was clean. It was within walking of town. We will definitely look for this on our next trip.
In Folkston for the weekend and Azalea Cottage was a perfect resting spot. It was close to the Folkston Funnel and walking distance of several restaurants. Clean, nice and had everything we needed!
Cozy and bigger than it looked online. It felt like home. Location was amazing. Clean and friendly neighborhood. Close to town, within walking distance,. It was an amazing trip and we can’t wait to go back.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Wed love to have you stay again!
This is such a great place to stay. It is within walking distance of local restaurants and shops. Grocery store just down the road. About an hour to Florida beaches or go north to Georgia beaches. There are mature trees in the yard and they are beautiful.

Lovely cottage, well supplied with the necessities. Would definitely recommend it to friends.
Quaint southern cottage. Centrally located to St Mary's Ga and Jacksonville, Fl.. Folkston is a small town in southern Georgia with a great history of trains. The Whistling Dixie restaurant is great, staff are great! Nice little town to explore! Great bike trails all around and the Okeechobee Swamp is right down the road, a great place to spend the day! Enjoyed our time at Azalea Cottage!

So happy you enjoyed your stay at the Azalea Cottage and in Folkston!
My family and I enjoyed our stay while being in town for the passing of loved ones. Great country home that even had a beautiful pear tree in the yard. We would definitely book again if needed. Folkston is my childhood town. We were surprised to find a place!

More than we imagined
Reluctant to tell how good this cottage is in case it's not free the next time we want to book it!
Much nicer than we imagined it would be, Azalea Cottage is in a great location, has all you need for a few days or a longer stay.
And if you are into railways it's just a couple of minutes walk to the Funnel viewing area.
