Charming 1930s Mountain Retreat with Balcony & Modern Comforts
Step into this beautifully updated 1930s cabin, featuring 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and space to sleep 6. The large balcony is perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenic views. Inside, you’ll find an updated kitchen with modern appliances and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Located one block from Green Mountain Falls Lake, local restaurants, and nature walks, this retreat is the perfect base for your Colorado mountain escape.
EV charger available for extra fee. Private Hot Tub
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire cabin, including the private outdoor space and parking area.
Manager is available in emergency situations but will not be on site.

We are a dog-friendly house. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. There is a $25 fee per dog. Dogs must stay off all furniture. The owner is required to pick up waste in the yard. Dog bags are provided. If they are left alone, they must be in a crate. Read house rules for more info. HOUSE RULES House Rules are provided at the Property to ensure that Guests and Visitors know and comply with the specific Rules governing their permission to enter and occupy the Property 1)General requirements: a) Guest and Visitors must comply with all House Rules, By-Laws and instructions from the Manager and security services during their stay; and b) Guests must notify the Manager of any disputes or complaints from neighbors ASAP. 2) Noise and Residential amenity: a) Guests and Visitors must not create noise which is offensive to occupiers of neighboring properties especially between 10pm - 8am and during arrival and departure at any time throughout the occupancy; Strictly Enforced by Green Mountain Falls b) Offensive noise is prohibited and may result in termination of permission to occupy the Property, eviction, loss of rental paid and extra charges for security and other expenses which may be deducted from Security Deposit or Bond under the Terms and Conditions; and c) Guests and Visitors must not engage in anti-social behavior and must minimize their impact upon the residential amenity of neighbors and local community. 3) Visitors: a) Guests are responsible for ensuring that Visitors comply with these House Rules. b) The maximum number of Guest permitted at the property is 2 adults per bed. 4) Gatherings or functions: a) This home is not a “party house” and such activities are strictly prohibited. 5) Parking: a) Guests and Visitors must comply with parking regulations and other requirements. Please show consideration to the neighbors and their vehicles. Parking is available in front of the home. Do not park in front of the neighbor`s homes. 6) Garbage: a) Guests and Visitors are to dispose of garbage in the bear-proof trash cans and completely secured. Do not leave any trash or food outside of the home at any time.
7) Security: a)Whenever you are absent from the property, close all windows and lock all doors to maintain security and prevent rain and damage. 8) Smoking: Smoking in NOT permitted in the home at any time. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the damage deposit. 9) Pets : Pets are permitted only if confirmed prior to arrival with the owner. Pets are NOT permitted on the furniture. Please pick up your pet`s waste upon departure. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the damage deposit. 10) Damages: Damages and breakages must be reported immediately to the owner. 11) Compliance & Consequences a) Depending on the Terms and Conditions of the contract between the Guest and Owner, the consequences of not meeting the requirements of this Code of Conduct can include enforcement action from: i. the Owner and its agents including Manager and security services; ii. local councils or; and iii. in some instances, the Police. b) Enforcement action is subject to the Australian Consumer Law and other relevant legislation. c) Such enforcement action could result in termination of permission to occupy the Property, eviction, loss of rental paid, deductions of room security deposits, and extra charges. d) It is therefore essential for all Guests to be aware of their obligations and of their responsibilities to make any Visitors to the Property aware of these requirements to maintain the amenity of the Property and its neighborhood. e) Breach of these House Rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of occupancy. The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the Property, Guests or Visitors who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance.

Everything was wonderful. The cabin is amazing with everything you need there. Hot tub is a huge plus and being able to see the wildlife from the porch is so wonderful. Truly recommend!!
If I could move in, I would. This is a quiet little place with a hot tub that was on my 'must have' list. There were deer in the front yard, birds, a stunning view and above all....SILENCE. It was clean, the hostess was on point, the kitchen worked well and I very much hope to be back!
Very well maintained, very dog friendly. The hiking trail is perfect for dogs who can cross a stream, otherwise turn around...Thank you for a wonderful experience!
What a great place to stay for a long weekend. Green Mountain Falls is a really fun little place with friendly people. If I come back to the area, I will look here first.
The check-in process is easy. There is a well equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi is easy to access. The property is clean. There is a nice deck with a private hot tub. The property is well maintained.
Convenient location to a few restaurants, nice relaxing setting near the lake. Easy walking distance to other family cabins. Close to other houses, but wasn't a concern. Nice little grass area for our dog. Clean and well maintained property. The deck to sit on was a great addition to the relaxing vacation.
Overall, we were very pleased with this property. And, the owner was super nice! As soon as we walked in, it smelled and looked very clean! Towards the end of our stay, we did run low on toilet paper, ran out of dishwasher pods, and the laundry detergent was low, but we had enough to do laundry. The owner was quick to respond to requests. Thanks for a great place ro stay!
Great place! Very comfortable and perfect location.
We've stayed here twice now and both times really enjoyed this property. It's only a couple minutes walk from the Green Mountain Falls pond and restaurants. Everything is clean and well kept. Will stay here again for sure!
We enjoyed staying in this cabin very much. Green mountain falls is a quiet little town to visit and stay in. The Pantry has good food. We enjoyed meeting the owners of the cabin also.

We thoroughly enjoyed an extended Thanksgiving vaca at this cabin! It was lovely and just what we needed to get off the beaten path and explore. It was cozy, beds were perfect, we slept in every morning. Loved the fireplace! Will def stay here again
If you’re looking for an easy escape from your home and city life, definitely consider this!! We absolutely loved the location of the house and the view of the mountains from the patio and hot tub. I plan on returning myself, because I can not get enough of their hot tub. The house isn’t too far from downtown where there are a few restaurants and coffee shops.
We stayed for a week- was great escape from TX heat. Everything was as advertised. Location is really great- walking distance to the tiny downtown, easy driveway/street, but also far enough from road that very peaceful, deer wandered onto property.
This house was clean and cozy! Great location and easy to find. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the closeness of the neighbors. The pictures make this house look like there are no other houses in the immediate area. Reality is there are very close neighbors and there is no yard. But that aside, this was a great house!
