Close to everything
This location was fantastic and close to everything. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. Nice restaurants and shops close by. The place is small but had all we needed during our brief stay in Paris.
Fantastic location, but.....
Fantastic location in a great little area of Paris with lots of places nearby to shop and eat. The owner was very pleasant and communication was prompt and easy.
But we did find the Appartement needed some heaving cleaning. The bathroom had mould around the shower and the toilet seat was broken. Overall we found the place felt unkept.
We understand that your paying for location here, but we think with just a little effort this apartment can be so much more
sorry Rudolf about the pull down toilets which was broken by renters before and they didn t tell me so no time to change it-
the cleaning is done everytime for each rent- I understand you were looking for higher standart, I apologize for not having hold enough what you were looking for-
In walking distance from all the sites.
Great location,. And great price
Stayed here with my 3 kids. Great location to everything. Was able to go out and see the Eiffel Tower at night. Washing machine was broken when we were there but all good. There is no air con but we did know that,. Unfortunately we hit Paris on its hottest day ever. There was a fan and we survived. Maud was great,. Very helpful and we were thankful for the help organising our taxi to the airport. Thanks
Petite Appt, great location
We chose this apartment based on the location. We wanted to be in close walking distance to the Eifel Tower. 10 minutes and we were there. Bonus is that Rue Cler, is about 5 min away as is the River Seine and you can easily walk to Hotel des Invalides/Napoleon's tomb (about 15 minutes) and even the Louvre in an easy 25-30 minutes taking the walkway along the Seine. Perfect!
The apartment is small, no doubt about that, and we knew that before we got there. But this is Paris, the city of little spaces. It had what we needed, a quiet place to sleep at night, a fridge, coffee maker and a good shower. Maud provided an electric fan as the summer temperatures in Paris were quite hot. The washer was out-of-order, but that turned out not to be an issue for us as this was the end of our European journey and we had enough clean clothes to get home (plus it was an excuse not to do laundry on vacation!)
Do to timing, we were not able to meet Maud in person, I wish we could have. She seems like a warm caring person. She speaks fluent English, and Maude, the serenade you gave me on the phone when we first arrived will be a forever-memory! :) The apartment was easy to find, and felt safe. We went out at about 11pm one night to see the tower lights and sparkle and noticed that there were a couple homeless people sleeping in the neighbourhood, but over all the streets felt safe. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area. We did avail ourselves of the Chinese take away and Pizza Hut right by the apartment when we just wanted a quick meal. The bakery next door is also great (no coffee though, so just keep that in mind when you go to get your morning Croissant) The grocery store across the street is decently stocked with every day needs and prices are reasonable.
The only challenge some people may face if they are travelling with kids or if everyone doesn't go to bed at the same time is that there is no door between the bedroom and kitchen. I dragged my kids around until quiet "late" by their bedtimes so we all pretty much were in bed at the same time, but its just a note to others who might be traveling with kids, etc. that are earlier to bed and are sensitive to others having lights on while they try to sleep.
Maud kindly arranged a taxi for us to get to the airport. We would have had no clue otherwise. Thank-you.
Overall a good place to stay.
Location location location!!
The highlight was definitely the location and it’s proximity to beautiful bakeries, restaurants and sight seeing. The Eiffel Tower only minutes to walk.
