Welcome to Pelican Isle Condominiums located on Beautiful Okaloosa Island!

Okaloosa Island is located on the Florida Panhandle between Fort Walton Beach and Destin and is considered one of the most Beautiful Beaches in the world! This area of the Emerald Coast is known for the great fishing, beautiful emerald colored water and soft sand as white as snow!

Pelican Isle Condominiums are a favorite on Okaloosa Island. We are on the beach with no other properties between us and the beach so there’s nothing to block your view of the ocean! Pelican Isle Condominiums offer wonderful amenities that include 300 feet of gulf frontage, a gulf front pool that is heated seasonably, a gulf front Hot Tub, a Fitness Room, and an outdoor Grilling area with Picnic tables.

Our Third floor condo features a Large Private Balcony with a full unobstructed direct view of the ocean. Sit back and enjoy your favorite beverage while watching the dolphins play in the ocean or enjoy a Beautiful sunset after your day spent at the beach.

This one bedroom/ two bathrooms condominium will sleep six people comfortably. The spacious master bedroom has a King size bed, two night stands with lamps, dresser with mirror, and a TV in the bedroom. Twin bunk beds are located in the bunk alcove in the hallway; a Queen size sofa/sleeper bed is in the living room area. This condo has TWO FULL bathrooms; one with a tub/shower combination, the other bathroom features a walk in shower. Linens and towels are provided for your stay.

The Ocean Front living room includes a sofa/sleeper, a recliner, and end tables with lamps and a coffee table. Relax and enjoy your favorite shows on the flat screen TV or the DVD player.

The fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer/ice maker, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. All dishes and cooking utensils are provided including a coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, and blender. We also provide a spice rack with an assortment of spices for cooking. The dining area, located between the living room and kitchen, features a dining table with seating for four with additional seating for two at the kitchen bar.

A great stay at Fort Walton Beach !

We just returned home from a great vacation @ Pelican Isle.

This condo unit was very nice and as described. It had everything that you need, fully furnished with all utensils, plates, cups, towels, etc., had ironing board, Iron, Hair Dryer, washer / dryer unit.

Had a wonderful balcony overlooking the white sand Beach. This area was not crowded like most Beach areas which made it nice. The pool is a nice size and was never over crowded.

There is a convenience store very close that pretty much has anything you need.

The owners were easy to deal with by e-mail, always answered everything very quickly, and had our security refund check out to us on the 3rd day after us leaving, which I appreciate.

I would highly recommend this Condo unit @ Pelican Isle for anyone who wants / needs a relaxing Florida Vacation. It is more laid back here, and Destin is only about 5-6 miles away.

Comforts of home on the beach

We had a great week! We have rented condos/houses before and love it. Loved having the extra perk of the umbrella and chairs already reserved on the beach. Elaine was great to work with. We would definitely book this condo again.

Breathtaking views, clean condo and great beach!

We recently stayed at Pelican Isle and it was our second time there. We fell in love with the place last year and decided to return again this year for our family vacation. The condo is clean and the views are breathtaking! Elaine is great to work with. She replies back to any questions pretty fast. We would recommend Pelican Isle to anyone as it does not seem to be over crowded, thus the reason we like it so much.

Very Enjoyable Vacation

The condo was nicely decorated and well-appointed. It also had a beautiful view. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been a better mattress on the pull-out sofa. We understand those mattresses are, by nature, thin and somewhat uncomfortable, but this one was unsleepable, even for the teenage boy using it. It all worked out as he slept on the sofa itself and was fine.

Great location, questionable cleanliness...

I hate to break the four and five star trend, but the condo was not as we expected. Previous reviewers indicate a very clean and updated condo, we disagree. When we first stepped in, things looked and smelled great (slight bleach smell indicating a thorough clean). Upon turning on the lights, we realized how very dusty and worn the unit was. The grout between the floor tiles was nearly black from dirt, noticeable dust on trim and decor, dust caked on bathroom exhaust fans, mold around the shower, rusty soap holder, soap holder in master bath loose and still had residue from previous occupants, dirty light switches, paint touch-up needed (huge scratch on wall near bunks), filthy stove top and carpet could use a cleaning. The steps going up to top bunk were broke (bent brackets on top) to the point where my daughter could not safely use them. My son ended up on the pull-out and my daughter slept on the bottom bunk.

We never watched TV, but WiFi was spotty, especially in the master bedroom. Considering how many access points are in that building, I understand there was likely a TON of interference. Not a big deal, but something I wanted to note.

On a positive note, the unit is in a great location! The view of the beach is spectacular and the porch was wonderful. The AC worked well and the unit was quiet. The master bed was comfy. The washer and dryer was a necessity and was used several times. The kids loved the pool and beach access was easy. Communication with the owner was great!

We fully understand this is a rental unit and there is literally a new family coming and going every week. However, some of these things should be taken care of as part of the normal cleaning (dusting) and maintenance (fixing bunk steps) routine. The unit has potential if properly cared for and at one time was probably very nice and clean.

In terms of cleanliness, I would give this unit two stars. The other items noted above helped to bring this up to an average in our minds which leaves room for improvement by the owner.

Owner's Response: We truly strive to make our renters comfortable and want them to enjoy their stay at all of our rental properties. We not only offer the accommodations.... we go further by providing extra amenities such as a spice rack for cooking, magazines to enjoy, cable TV, Wi-Fi, Beach Service March1st- October 31st. While our cleaning staff normally do a great job!....I do ask that our renters communicate to me upon their arrival if things are not acceptable. I regret that this renter questioned the cleanliness of the condo....IF she had contacted me with her concerns rest assured that any legitimate concerns/ problems would have been corrected immediately. After each renters departure....The cleaning staff thoroughly clean the condo...Both bathrooms are cleaned, Everything is dusted, all floors are vacuumed and mopped. The kitchen is thoroughly cleaned and any food or trash is thrown out. All soiled linens are removed from the unit and replaced with clean linens. As our prior renters have stated in their reviews..."They enjoyed their stay at our condo" because the condo is Comfortable, its Clean and comes with a lot of amenities. Please Come Stay and Be Our Guest!
