Overview

About the property

Light-filled, recently constructed 485 sq ft studio w/full kitchen.

Our compact studio is recently constructed! Quiet and peaceful yet only a 12 minute walk to downtown, even less to UNC Asheville, the Botanical Gardens, the North Asheville Tailgate Market, and Whole Foods. There is a very comfortable queen memory foam bed with a privacy curtain to cordon off the bedroom from the kitchen and living area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with new stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, etc. There is a good-sized bathroom with a walk-in shower. It is furnished with a mix of antiques and mid century furniture that have been lovingly collected over the years. Comfort and serenity were our goals in creating this studio. Like Asheville itself, the studio is tucked away, eclectic, efficient, and comfortable. What more could you need?

Very nice. Owner was available for questions and always answered promptly. Walking distance to downtown. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would gladly stay there again.

The perfect place to stay in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

Going forward this stay will be what we measure all future VRBO experiences against. The owners were friendly, helpful, and communicative -- yet left us entirely to ourselves after checking us in and showing us around.

The apartment is clean, spacious, and incredibly well designed for a short-stay situation. We especially liked that it had plenty of light and looked out on a quiet, leafy neighborhood that quickly became one of our favorites in Asheville.

The location is fantastic. Far enough away from downtown to be completely peaceful, yet you're never more than about a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute Uber) from anything you could want to see, eat, or do in town.

Internet worked well (this has been a big issue at other VRBOs). All necessities like shampoo, soap, paper towels, and even coffee and cream were amply stocked. Bed was incredibly comfortable, linens and towels were new and nice, and the shower had good pressure.

On our last night we both said we wished we could just stay in this very same apartment anywhere we went in the world. We will definitely be back!

Lovely, airy, and private above garage apartment

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I visited Asheville in April and stayed for 3 nights in this apartment. It's a great space, updated and clean. Located above a recently built detached garage, it offers privacy and is in a beautiful neighborhood. You can easily walk to Nine Mile (great restaurant), Montford Park and UNC Asheville. Used uber to travel downtown/other locations in Asheville when we didn't want to drive and rides were quick and very well priced from this location. Owners were great and I would highly recommend this location.

Wonderful pied-a-terre in Asheville

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this cozy studio in March. It is tastefully appointed, clean and neat, has everything one might need, and is in a lovely residential neighborhood, within walking distance of downtown Asheville. The owner was solicitous but not intrusive, sending a few texts occasionally with suggestions of things to do. They were very considerate and parked their car on the street, so that it was easier for us to get in and out of the inner parking lot. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and would recommend this place without reservations.

Very nice people with an even nicer apartment. All you need for a good weekend lodging option

  • 5 of 5

They were incredibly friendly and had a beautiful studio apartment. It's very elevated and sits in the trees. The apartment is completely separate from the house. Outside of check-in we had no contact with the owners. They made sure we were settled and then we had very separate spaces. The house is in a very pretty neighborhood close to downtown. We had an awesome time. I'd recommend it to anyone. Thanks Robert and Trudi!
