Our compact studio is recently constructed! Quiet and peaceful yet only a 12 minute walk to downtown, even less to UNC Asheville, the Botanical Gardens, the North Asheville Tailgate Market, and Whole Foods. There is a very comfortable queen memory foam bed with a privacy curtain to cordon off the bedroom from the kitchen and living area. There is a fully equipped kitchen with new stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, etc. There is a good-sized bathroom with a walk-in shower. It is furnished with a mix of antiques and mid century furniture that have been lovingly collected over the years. Comfort and serenity were our goals in creating this studio. Like Asheville itself, the studio is tucked away, eclectic, efficient, and comfortable. What more could you need?
Dine, dance & party in a wide selection of downtown venues, then retreat to the calm serenity of our 'hidden-in-plain-sight' studio for your R & R.
Walk 2 minutes to the Reed Creek Greenway, an urban trail with a bubbling mountain steam to keep you company; you will feel miles away from the city, or walk neighborhood streets to the historic Riverside Cemetery where Thomas Wolfe and other local notables are laid to rest.
The property and owners exceeded our expectations. The owners were very friendly and really thought of everything to make our visit perfect. The property is very comfortable and really laid out well. The pictures do not do it justice. The location is convenient to the interstate and downtown.
This property was perfect for a getaway for two. We have been to Asheville multiple times and this far outweighs the hotel experience we've had before. The apartment was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. The location was perfect as well, less than a mile to downtown Asheville and free on-site parking. If we ever go back just the two of us, I will absolutely check on the availability of this property first as well as recommend it to all of my family and friends who may visit the area. The success of these types of places are so dependent upon reviews and the reviews for this place are all spot on. Thanks for a wonderful visit!
This place was just what we wanted - a clean, modern, comfortable place, set in a lovely quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed walking and riding bikes near our house, and the short drive in & around Asheville to get to all the great beer & barbecue places was easy. We loved eating at Nine Mile, just a couple blocks away - fantastic & affordable food. The owners are pleasant, accommodating, and respected our privacy. We hope to stay here again on future visits!
This property is exactly as described. It's exceptionally clean, well appointed, quiet and comfortable. Our check in was smooth with a quick orientation and welcome from Trudy. We were later reassured by Richard if we needed anything at all to just let them know. The property is equipped with everything you need for a quick weekend or weekly stay. It's walkable to downtown and there's also a couple of excellent eateries in the neighborhood. Several surprises were supplied from chocolates on arrival to a couple umbrellas if need for you walks around town.
The owners are available if needed and out of your way if not. We felt safe walking the Montford neighborhood and all downtown areas. We highly recommend this rental which is excellent for singles or couples.
We had a wonderful experience staying at Robert and Trudi's! The unit was exactly as advertised and as the pictures depict. The kitchen and bathroom were very well appointed. Robert was available at check-in to answer any questions and accommodating to our check-in time. We hope to return!
