This 2 room apartment (45 m² /484 sq. f.) overlooks a paved gardened courtyard and is located in a small and quiet hidden alley of the Latin Quarter, on top of "The Hill "(Sainte Geneviève), the intellectual heart of Vibrant Latin Quarter
Completely renovated by an interior designer in January 2014, it is tastefully decorated, with nice pieces of art and antiques, completely furnished and fully equipped (TV (more than 300 channels including English channels), Internet wireless access, full equipped kitchen ...).
The apartment has a living room (with a high quality sofa/hide-a-bed that opens really easily on an "already made" bed. No need to do it every morning) and a bedroom with a matrimonial bed (French double bed : 140 cm X 200 cm). The contemporary kitchen overlooks another courtyard and has all the equipment you want, including a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Linen and towels are of course furnished.
You are in a safe, charming, quiet small hidden alley just a few minute walk away from the Latin Quarter vibrant life. You are in the heart of THE “Village” not far from rue Mouffetard, one of the Food Temples of Paris and Place de la Contrescarpe, circled by cafés, terraces, restaurants... Rue Blainville will lead you to the Luxembourg Gardens and by taking a charming old stone flight of stairs (full of flowers in spring, summer and fall) you'll get to the famous Arènes de Lutèce, an ancient roman amphitheater where up to 15,000 people used to watch gladiators fighting, and the "Jardin des Plantes' (Garden of Plants with the famous National Museum of Natural History and the Botanical Gallery)
On your arrival, just open the cupboards and you will find tea, coffee, sugar... but also all the basic ingredients you need (oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, basic spices...) to cook a meal or prepare a salad.
We want you to feel at home in our place and will be glad to answer your questions and help you the best we can .
