Key Lime

Oh the views and only a few feet from the white sandy beach. Sit on the front or back porch protected from the sun and enjoy the balmy breezes and sea the gulf to the south and the bay to the north. The sunrises are spectacular on the back porch and the sunsets are amazing from the front porch. Key Lime is located in the prestigious Heritage Shore subdivision providing wonderful amenities perfect for the old to young including two swimming pools, a tennis court, and clubhouse. All superbly maintained. You are literally 50 ft. to the beach where you can spend the whole day of fun and sun on the white sandy beach and crystal clear water. The house is one mile from the Fort Morgan Marina where you can Charter a fishing trip, rent jet ski's or dock your own boat.

The house is a spacious 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home. Open concept living, dining and kitchen area. Lots of windows everywhere giving the home a bright and airy atmosphere.

The kitchen is well stocked for simple to gourmet cooking. The washer and dryer are full size.

There are two king size beds, one full and one twin. Two of the couches pull out to queen size beds. Two bedroom have an suite bathrooms. All rooms have TV and cable. DVD player in the main room. Plenty of space inside and out to enjoy your relaxing vacation. The house has been recently purchased by new owners and has undergone a deep cleaning with a few updates.

A few of the updates include new TV and a large picnic table on the back porch so the whole family can enjoy eating outside. There is a large selection of books, games, puzzles, and some DVD's for your use. The home has free WiFi.

A great feature of the house include a pull through driveway. So there is plenty of parking. If towing a boat or trailer the pull through makes it easy to store and navigate.

Why Suzanne Butler chose Alabama

A dream come true. My husband and myself have combed the beaches east and west. We wanted a home that was comfortable, beautiful views in an area that was not condominium land. Being part of the subdivision the surrounding homes are beautifully maintained. I envision kids and grandchildren coming and having a safe fun place. Even though out on the peninsula it is just a short drive to restaurants and amusement parks. The marina is only one mile from the house, we are looking forward to buying a boat and spending many hours on the water. Perfect beach and boating!

Relaxed, peaceful getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Our week at Key Lime was a small family reunion, 5 from Texas, 1 from Georgia and 1 from Michigan. We were constantly amazed at how well furnished, clean, and well equipped the home was. We even used the crock pot once to cook a Boston butt which we shredded for barbeque. New modern grill. One of our days was rainy and the three children enjoyed riding their scooters and playing games on the cement area underneath the house. Very open kitchen, dining and living room area. It was our first trip to Ft Morgan. If we do decide on another beach reunion, Key Lime is the only choice we would consider in the area. Lois P.

Key Lime was extra fine!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed in multiple homes in Heritage Shores and Key Lime is now our favorite! The location is great. Just a short walk to the beach. What we appreciated the most was how well stocked the house was. We did not need to bring any of the extras that we have had to in the past. From hand soap to laundry soap, it was all there for us! Great place to stay and one we will recommend to friends and family.

Very nice large clean, exceptionally well furnished house.

I have vacationed in about 20 other rentals in Fort Morgan,

This is my favorite.

Perfect January getaway

  • 5 of 5

We spent the month of January at Key Lime and loved it! This was our 3rd year to spend a winter month on the Gulf and this was our favorite overall. We had two sets of guests a week at a time, and the entertaining space and sleeping arrangements are great (they all loved it too and extended their stays a couple of days). The home is so light and bright, immaculate, and had everything we needed to cook, grill, and keep house for a month including all the laundry, dishwashing, and paper supplies. We had some 75 degree days but mostly 60's, so my favorite spot when not at the beach was the view out the window at the kitchen table early morning and on the back porch later in the morning. This home has to have the best Gulf view in the subdivision, it's amazing. You have the stairs to get into the home, but none inside, and it's a flat walk out to the beach (less than 1/2 block). We've had so many stairs up and down over the dunes in the past but not here. I found hundreds of huge shells and lots of sand dollars. The area is very quiet and low traffic so we enjoyed bike rides both directions. My husband surf fished most days and kept enough one day to have a fish fry. The drive into Gulf Shores is about 20 minutes where we visited many restaurants, the Tanger Outlet in Foley, and attended Romar Beach Baptist Church in Orange Beach, which we loved. Within three minutes to the west of Key Lime is Tacky Jacks Marina and restaurant and the Mobile Bay Ferry. It was a short 35-minute ride to beautiful Dauphin Island, and then we visited the USS Alabama on the way back. Our guests also enjoyed a visit to Fort Morgan (guided tours only on Tuesdays in the winter). Five minutes to the east is the Sassy Bass, a restaurant and small grocery store. You can also get gas and supplies at The Pines headed into town. Suzanne was super nice to work with from start to finish and returned our deposit quickly. Did I mention the beautiful beach ?!

Great location and feels like home!

  • 5 of 5

Had a great experience and felt like we just lived here because everything was available so you don't have to go out to eat all the time and the kids can just walk across the street to the ocean. Very clean and quiet neighborhood. Would recommend for a family, we had 3 adults and 4 boys and all fit just fine. I would watch the directions you might get from your phone as it took us to the ferry crossing which was closed. You don't need to go that way just travel through gulf shores to ft morgan. The fort is right down the road and made an all day fun visit as well.

A marina is 1 mile from the house, they feature boat charters, rentals of pontoon boats, jet ski's and kayaks.

Right before Fort Morgan there is a car ferry, that will take you across Mobile Bay to Dolphin Island.
