Fantastic house, pool and garden for our 2 families

The house was perfect for our 2 families (4 adults, 4 children) with plenty of bedrooms and space downstairs. It was very well equipped as described in the advertisement. The air conditioning was much appreciated during the night. The large garden was great for football and cricket. There was also a lovely patio with plenty of chairs and a large table, as well as an outdoor covered area with table tennis, seating area and barbeque. We all enjoyed the pool and the kids especially loved the slide. The setting was very peaceful with no neighbours within sight so the children could shout and play without disturbing anyone! Supermarket, boulangerie etc were only 5 minute drive away and the beautiful town of Aix was only 10 minutes' drive away, with all its lovely restaurants, cafes, squares and markets. There is a beautiful beach at Sainte Croix, about 30 minute drive away. Sophie and Philippe were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and they quickly dealt with any questions and issues. We had a fantastic 2 weeks and would thoroughly recommend the house and would be happy to stay there again.

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé deux semaines en famille au mois d'Aout dans cette maison très agréable , et fonctionnelle, bien située. Nous étions nombreux et pourtant chacun pouvait aussi y trouver son intimité. Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants. Nous avons été accueillis par leur fils très sympathique et disponible. Le jardin est très vaste, les enfants ont pu profiter pleinement des jeux extérieurs . La piscine a fait le bonheur de tous ! Nous recommandons cette location À tous ceux qui souhaitent passer des vacances au calme en famille !

grands espaces et multi-jeux, calme et proximité

Maison vivement recommandé! Beaucoup d'espace, cohabitation facile : on peut se retirer au calme pendant que d'autres s'éclatent dans le grand jardin. Nombreux livres, BD et jeux à disposition (jeux de société, légos, jeux de piscine, raquettes, ping-pong, portique et même un toboggan de piscine). Impossible que les loulous s'ennuient! Et vous pouvez voyager + légers... La cuisine est super équipée et on ne manque de rien. Un avantage par rapport aux maisons de villégiature. Il y a une grande chambre en bas, avec salle de douche attenante. Le WC est séparé. En haut, il y a 4 chambres assez spacieuses, une salle de bain séparée, un WC séparé et un coin bureau. La maison est perdue au milieu des champs, au calme, sans vis-à-vis. Mais effectivement, on est à 5 min des super-marchés et du centre d'Aix. Ca surprend! Beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs... Nos coups de coeur : aqueduc de Roquefavour, le restaurant L'éouvé à Ventabren, petite randonnée sur la Sainte Victoire jusqu'à la Chapelle de Saint Ser (chaussures de marches conseillées), Art moderne à la Fondation Vasarely. Un peu de tout! En bref, nous sommes conquis, et nous espérons avoir l'occasion de revenir!

3 great weeks in Aix-en-Provence

We spent 3 weeks in the house of the Murat family, and we had a great time. We were 2 families, each with a 4-year old daughter, and this was close to paradise for them. Great pool and water slide, a large green garden where they could play and run, and also some shade where the could cool down during the day. Cours Mirabeau is only 10 minutes by car away, with all the great restaurants, shops and fantastic atmosphere of Aix-en-Provence. And the beaches only 20-30 minutes away by car. Philippe and Sophie Murat were great hosts, and we felt very welcome. They provided us with recommendations on where to go (places and restaurants), both in Aix-en-Provence and other villages / towns in Provence. The light and art show in "Carrieres de Lumieres" in the old limestone mines in Les Baux de Provence was certainly worth the visit, both for adults and kids. If we had any questions, or minor issues, they took care of it quickly, and made sure we had the best experience.

"Parfaitement située,(com...

"Parfaitement située,(commerces à proximité, Aix à 5 mns en voiture),au calme, la maison est très agréable, confortable et facile à vivre ; on s''y sent chez soi.Petits et grands ont beaucoup apprécié ces vacances et bien profité de la maison, du jardin et de la piscine. "Maison bien équipée pis...

"Maison bien équipée piscine et terrain idéale pour les enfants. Les propriétaires très sympathiques et très disponibles laissent à disposition une maison"vivante"( bibliothèque personnelle, jeux,plantes vertes). On ne voit pas les chambres sur les photos mais elles sont très spacieuses et confortables. idéale pour des vacances tranquilles et reposantes."
